This seems like an odd complaint. Can people not learn more about the true Green Lantern whenever they want? Dose it matter when people want to seek out this information? Did you expect there to be a window for people to watch the video? If that is the case (and you don‘t want people watching your own video anymore. For whatever reason.) , then why dose the video still exist? I don’t want it deleted, however you give off the impression that you do. So why haven’t you? As for the “quality” of this video (in comparison to later videos you made) , I believe they are more comparable then you are implying. Other then some small changes, they look about the same when compared directly. Plus the information in this video can only be found here, not in any of your later videos. So again your statement seems odd under the circumstances. I can understand if you want people to check out your other videos as well, but bashing your old ones is not the way to do it. It just seems like you're angry that people are watching your video. Is people watching it not the reason it exists? That just seems silly if that is the case. Now if your counter argument is “That statement I made is half a joke.” I would still argue that this is an odd statement to make all the same. Not many people get many viewers, so complaining about getting them (even if it‘s half a joke) just seems strange. Imagine if a dinner got mad at people ordering a dish they had plenty of. If they didn’t want people ordering it, why is it on the menu?
@@PauTheDeo Indeed, that's what I was saying. It just seems like a bazar complaint for the video maker above to have. Glad to see we agree on this point.
In addition to Superman and Batman, who helped popularize heroes in comics, I suppose credit should also be given to prior heroes like Zorro, Buck Rogers, Popeye, The Green Hornet, The Phantom, Dick Tracy, and the Clock. Green Lantern is definitely a highlight too though.
As for your question, I gotta admit I love the magical "Tale Of The Green Lantern." Read it in Feiffer's "The Great Comic Book Heroes" on Christmas about 53 years ago. Both G.L.'s origin stories are highly imaginative. As a published writer of Sci Fi and Fantasy I see I was influenced by comics! Thanks for the fun video! Keep shedding light! ----Mike
Comparing these two is like comparing Zatanna to Dr. Fate. Alan Scott is as powerful (if not more powerful) than the entire Green Lantern Corps COMBINED.
Why do Green Lanterns have the silliest of weaknesses? Alan Scott's ring didn't work on anything made of wood, and Hal Jordan's ring didn't work on anything that was yellow. A criminal could dress up as a giant banana with a baseball bat, and defeat both of them. By the way, Alan Scott is my favorite Green Lantern. I really love The JSA.
I often wondered how the hell those Injustice guys manage to kill the JSA In the Stargirl opening. Heavy hitters like Dr Fate Alan Scott the Hawkman and Hawkgirl in that universe would have been difficult.
