I got mine at the end of August. The cushions are foam, they no longer offer down. It’s a great sofa . I’m mostly in love with it but there a few improvements that can be made.

I bought the kova pit w/storage and the kova sofa 120". I really wanted the Diorama couches but they were a bit too expensive. I have not received my kova sofas as of yet but your review on it was about what i was expecting.Thanks for your honest review! It has been very informative

I purchased the L-Shape with ottoman last March for my family room, which is the old version with down feathers and 2" foam. The seat cushions were not comfortable at all (like sitting on the floor). Therefore, I added 2" gel memory foam to each seat cushion. Now it's not only super comfortable, it is more structured, which means I only have to fluff the back pieces maybe once a week and the bottom every two weeks or so. This is with two standard size Labradoodles jumping and playing on it. Oh, and there isn't any separation because they are pretty much overstuffed. So you can sit in the middle where two seats are attached without any issue. However, I would not recommend Albany Park as a whole due to their horrible customer service and how they offer a twn year warrant. Yet they had an issue with replacing defective pieces that were noticed when unboxed and reported to them via email the same day. That is what happened to me. Long story short, I disputed the charge with my bank (used debit card) after going back and forth with them for almost a month and ended up getting my money back. As far as the Kova. Not only did it have physical defects that could be seen when unboxed. When I took the covers off to get the foam piece out to use as a guide when cutting the gel memory foam I purchased. I noticed there was tnread hanging everywhere, and one of the foam pieces was two pieces of foam glued together, and they were a dingy yellow. The threads hanging is on the back covers as well, which I noticed when turning them inside out to wash. I think with the gel foam I added, it will last a couple of years since I have a front load washing machine. It could be longer. But with all the threads hanging. I feel like, at some point, the covers will come undone or get holes. Sad being I had my last sofa and loveseat for 8 years, and it still looked new when I got the Kova sectional.

We purchased and received ours back in November and my biggest complaint is laying across it to sleep. Where the modular pieces meet, there’s no comfort at all, and I e actually woke up up in pain from it. We tried to put some 1-inch foam toppers between the seat cushions and the furniture itself, but it didn’t make that big of a difference. I’m wondering if we go with a thicker foam if it would help, because I love the couch outside of that!

How many times you are going to warren us about having a " cloud sofa " You sound like you're trying to talk us out of purchasing this sofa. Let me go watch another reviewer who's going to make me excited about purchasing this sofa or purchasing anything from Albany Park. This was not a convincing review..

The seat cushions, would you be able to fill them in the future if by chance ,you wanted to maintain the appearance of a fuller cushion?
