So happy for TIO Albert! Couldn't happen to a better guy even though he did it against our dodgers. I love watching backstage dodgers!

At least I "invested" in a few Albert Pujols rookie cards 20 years ago. A definite congratulations to Tio Albert for reaching the 700 home run club.

Lifetime Dodger fan, I was lucky enough to have my cousin Ed give me the best seats I've ever had in my life at the stadium. It turned out to be the most historic moment I've seen in person. I was 13 when pops and I watched game 1 of the 1988 World Series. As a young Dodger fan Gibby's homerun is still the best MLB moment I've ever witnessed on TV. This moment ranks right up there especially of the historic context. My cousin Joe and I and the whole stadium knew the magnitude of the moment. I have NEVER heard the stadium cheer so loud for an opponent's homerun! That's the kind of class act Albert Pujol's is. That's the kind of moment it was. He'll always be our Tio Albert. Gracias Tio! The Cards beat us like a drum that night but we all knew the historic moment was bigger than the game. Oh and the seats came with access to an all you can eat buffet AND it was fireworks night! I mean the planets really aligned for me that night! The stars too! I got the moment on video check it out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aI-Lu0gWteY.html

To do what he has done in an era of pitch tracking and heat maps. He is one of the greatest of all time, and you can argue the greatest due to the fact that he did what he did when he did it, in the age of analysis.

As a Cardinals fan, it's so awesome to see the Dodgers organization join in the celebration for this huge moment. While I always wish Albert could have done it in St. Louis, hitting 700 at Dodger Stadium is a wonderful consolation!

We helped him get to 700 No thanks to the Angels for letting him go! If it hadn’t been for us signing him to play with us in 2021 who knows if he would’ve made it to 700 (more likely not) Glad he finished his career in a Cardinal Uniform too! 🙏🏽 8:10 love how they put a video of him hitting a home off the team that gave up on him Just like the 700 Career home run game I was there to see that too! Lol It was dope to see that 700th Career Home Run in person! Not a single boo and literally all the Dodger fans were bouncing off their seats we didn’t care that we lost that night lol

I have a great Pujols story. One year, Pujols played for the Anaheim Angels. We live in South Texas and I was on vacation in California, where I'm from, and took my two sons to see a game in Anaheim, but only because my childhood favorite Dodgers weren't in town. So as a "consolation", we got to see something that changed our lives forever. The Angels were playing the Houston Astros and were down by a run. Pujols came up to bat and when the count went to 1-1, I started to chant, "Homer, homer, homer!" Half the people around us were Astros fans, who looked at me with some scorn. My boys chanted with me. The next pitch, Pujols parked one deep in the bleachers. The Angels fans pumped their fists and looked back at us with cheering approval of my apparent home run prognostication. Later in the game, the Angels were up 3-2 and Pujols came up to bat again. When the count reached 2-1, I started to make the same "Homer, homer, homer!" chant. The Astros fans looked back at me with curled-lipped derision. Next pitch, Pujols parks a two-run homer into the bleachers and the Angels end up winning the game. From then on, my sons were hooked on baseball. Now, my oldest plays baseball with his local community college and my youngest is a two-sport phenom in football and baseball and on track to get an athletic scholarship. We watched Pujols' 700 on TV as it happened, and my youngest son was nearly moved to tears as it reminded him of one of his fondest early childhood memories.

It was poetic. If not at Busch at the stadium that revitalized the end of his career. Tip of the cap, Tío.

Is there anyone hotter than 40+ year old Albert Pujols (Judge notwithstanding)? Dude has 24 HR/68 RBI.... in just 300 ABs! 500 ABs would have gotten him 40 HR/113 RBI
