Albert Pujols with 703 homeruns after a historic 2022, final season. Pujols has some tough competition but with his 3 homerun World Series game in 2011, his homerun off Brad Lidge in 2005 and 4th all time in homeruns. Albert Pujols has an argument for the greatest of all time. We look at the career of the the Cardinal, Angel, and Dodger.

Pujols had super intimidating batting stance too... You just know it was a home run batting stance. 😂😂

Here is the thing with bonds and pujols ever scince bonds joined the league in 1986 up until his 70+ hr season he averaged around 27 hrs a season while hitting .286 and tbh he is really good st putting bst on ball if he didnt take roids he wouldve still made the hall of fame with over 500 career hrs and its super obvious when he did use the peds and another thing is albert when he came up to the big leagues he hit an average of .302 for ten seasons while hitting 30 plus hrs and leading the league in doubles and rbis and pujols is also really good at putting bat on ball like bonds but the thing is albert even ehen he left the csrds was still a above average hitter too and tbh i really do think Albert is the best hitter of the 2000’s and 2010’s

if he stayed on the cards his whole career he would have been chasing Bonds for all time HR and passed Aaron all time in RBI
@SoNoTJeSuSx

If he takes the Cards 5 year deal, and then a club friendly 4 year deal with a player option 5th. Then maybe. Edit: On second thought, (and also watching maybe 10 seconds longer into the vid) I can totally see how being on a struggling team for years can affect performance.

Quit lying, everyone know pujols was really born in the mid 70s, It makes his accomplishments even more impressive, having a final season like that when your almost 50 years old is insane.

I'm a lifelong Cards fan and St Louisan but I think Albert is only? the second best. It's hard to beat Henry Aaron.

I think for about 10 years he really had a case for that. Either way he’s on the short list.

GOAT for his entire career? No. But the stats do not lie or distort: His first 10 years in baseball were the best 10 consecutive years of any hitter in history. Period.

@@monteellis4436 Wrong era buddy. He played in the 50's and 60's with Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle. You are thinking about the dead ball era and the Babe Ruth era. Sure the pitchers were not as nasty as today but this was post integration when baseball had been the number 1 sport since the turn of the century. He was also in WW II and the Korean war for a huge part of his prime.

It's a silly argument because duh if he was pulled out of time and placed here, but if he grew up playing in this era it would be completely different.

I think it’s so dumb that people just disregard steroid users, like using steroids doesn’t just make u instantly be able to hit a 98 mph fastball🤣🤣
@sammehlberg6664
@sammehlberg6664 Год назад
I think the big deal about steroid users is that it allows them extended longevity.

I’m no expert but I would venture to guess that it helps your bat speed at the very least

@@HT-sm9dm the main benefit of steroids is that u don’t get injured and ur body is always at 100%
@HT-sm9dm
@HT-sm9dm Год назад
@@chettywap1620 I get that. I just think maybe it helps bat speed as well. I mean I’ve heard basketball players say that steroids helped them jump higher for example. Then again I’m just speculating. I’ve never taken the stuff myself before.
