Awesome video Dana!!! Found your channel about 3 months ago. Used to bow hunt in the ever tough north Adirondack woods in upstate ny. Due to family and a wife and kids haven’t since then. Getting a new now for Christmas and can’t wait. Your passion and attention to detail shine through in every video. Life is so short. It’s so important to do what you love to your absolute best ability and your work is the epitome of that. Thank you for reinvigorating my love of the quiet backwoods and hunting whitetail.

This video shows perfectly how hard hunting can be. Usually around late October I'm already starting to get in my own head. Then inevitably November hits and some guy at work will go out with their dad or someone and get a giant their first morning and say "don't you go hunting all the time"? That's when the pressure really starts to build and the whole time trail cam pictures are showing that you were just missing nice bucks. I wouldn't change it for anything in the world but damn hunting season can be a grind! It's nice to see the reality of hunting from real hunters.
Yep, caught the high artery in the back there. Sometimes you just gotta get lucky. Not what we set out to do, but the end result was a quick dispatch and a recovered animal within 60 yards.
