This guy is great. Look up "Alarm Will Sound", it's an orchestra performing Aphex Twin songs. I think the album is named Acoustica, but you can find live performances as well. Hope you enjoy.

Because it's just not his medium or how he chooses to express himself, simple. He works on his own in his bedroom, where he has about 800 hours of unreleased material. He uses the tools most readily available to create the sounds he wants and probably doesn't assume a full orchestra makes a sound more impressive or any better. He's a one of a kind artistic genius and I'm 100% with the music he makes as he makes it and don't see how any orchestra would elevate it any. RDJ is unique especially as much of his music is still analogue. RDJ live at the Albert Hall might sound fancy, but it's not his scene nor his audience.

THEM is a he. Richard D James is his name. It is a one man operation. He started out as AFX (af x), then became aphex twin, as well as releasing countless more music anon under a variety of names.

Not anywhere yet I know there is some people interested and i plan on doing a website because I actually made a lot of transcription of Aphex Twin's work (that's actually what led to me doing some improvisations on his music) and i will put all of them on a website at some point but i need time to do that and for now i don't have it but i really want to do it so hopefully for this summer let's say. I'll let you know promise 👍
