Blood on the Tracks is one of my Top 25 albums of all time. A true classic.

The only one I've heard is Blood on the Tracks. In my opinion, Dylan's best album overall. OMG, Tangled Up in Blue is a masterpiece of a song: "Some are mathematicians/ Some are carpenters" wives/ Don't know how it all got started, I don't know what they do with their lives..."

Jim, for me it has to be Uriah Heep. For context this, these are the first 9 studio albums with the founding trio of David Byron (vocals), Mick Box (Lead guitar) and Ken Hensley (Keyboards & guitars). Mick Box is the sole surviving member and still leads the group today. ...Very 'Eavy ...Very 'Umble, Jun 1970: Salisbury, Jan 1971: Look at Yourself, Sept 1971: Demons and Wizards, May 1972: *The Magician's Birthday, Nov 1972* : Sweet Freedom, Sept 1973: Wonderworld, Jun 1974, Return to Fantasy, Jun 1975: High and Mighty, Jun 1976.

Man this is hard to pick. I'm taking out of the picture Bob Dylan , second I have to eliminate Zappa cause is a whole chapter by himself , and im between uriah heep and early Scorpions. I believe I will choose Scorpions for several reasons. First of all Michael Shenker plays on it if I recall well , second the voice of Klaus Meine is so diffrent cause its before hes operation on hes vocal chords which completely changed it and third cause they are more proggressive style of rock than the the classic mainstream we use to them after Michael's leaving. Intresting choises though never the less I will enjoy any of them. Sorry for my lousy English Helios from Greece.

The previous Scorpions album “In Trance” is better than “Taken by Force” imo with the exception being the “Sails of Chiron” 😬

I have every Frank Zappa album but I never liked The Man From Utopia very much. Scorpions wins for me if only for The Sails of Charon. Heep a close second.

Interesting mix! Not blown away by The Scorpions: don't think you can beat Uriah Heep; The Man from Utopia was the first Zappa album I owned so I do appreciate it but it's not his best, not for everyone and some of the humour falls very flat: Blood on the Tracks is good but, as with so much of Dylan, very overrated; I've confessed previously that Ziltoid is my favourite Devin album but is it as good as The Magician's Birthday? This requires some thought...

...after some thought, Ziltoid should really be listened to as a whole - it's a complete story after all - but, if you've not listened to The Magician's Birthday, you really should. I voted Ziltoid but I hope Heep wins.
