I have always been obsessed by the man's voice, I was wondering why he was not credited and I just learnt that it was her own voice but transformed by technology !
@@PedramTurkoglu It's actually her own voice!; both in concerts and especially when live you can't synthesize voices on the spot, although some allow backing tracks. The version released on the album does have various edits though. :V
@@sandersbess Really? Not too sure about that but I suppose you're right, sorry. You can lower your voices tone though, I have no doubt in my mind Agnes is talented enough.
@@rainesjupiter7308 He's right. Changing your voice with effects on the spot is extremely easy these days. Regardless, it shouldn't take away from her performance. Everything about this song is amazing.
C'est magnifique, certainement mon morceau préféré d'Agnès ! On plonge dans un autre univers avec légèreté, dans une atmosphère parfois étrange mais tellement harmonieuse ! On ressent des émotions, des sentiments, on voit des images, c'est ce que j'aime chez cette merveilleuse artiste ! ♥️
Sans doute la plus belle version que j'ai pu trouver. La qualité de la performance et splendide, mais la prise de son et le travail d'Alcaline rend particulièrement grâce à ce beau morceau d'Agnes Obel.
Une musique tout en effleurement avec des effets atmosphériques, un travail de la voix en écho qui peut se faire tantôt psalmodie, chuchotement, incantation, plainte étouffée…Elle tisse aussi des entrelacs de silence. Quelque chose de nouveau, mais avec un héritage classique à travers la simplicité désarmante de compositions inspirées qui sont avant tout fondées sur la répétition d’un motif. L' expression est portée par des entorses aux instruments (les cordes frottés pincées en rythmique par exemple ou le violoncelle qui est d’abord grincement, sciage) mais aussi quelques dissonances mesurées. Une expression d'une solitude déshumanisée, d’une sourde mélancolie émanant d'une voix avant tout intérieure... On peut noter à la fois l’influence de Dépêche mode, Kate Bush.. mais aussi de Ravel ou certaines œuvres pour piano de Debussy (Préludes)…
Tu veux trop en mettre plein la vue, du coup ton analyse qui partait bien se dilue dans un flot de qualificatifs incompréhensibles . Tu devrais apprendre l humilité avant de partager tes états d âmes. Tu aurais dû juste dire " la chanson et l interprétation sont extraordinaire " . Tout le monde aurait apprécié, alors que là, tu passes juste pour un gars qui se la pète. Dommage!!!
I've been listening to her albums for days, weeks, months on Spotify without even checking her out RU-vid. So glad I did now! Spotify does try to suggest other artists every day with pop ups and everything.. But nope, I always go with lots of pleasure to my "Agnes Obel" playlist. Nice try Spotify! :-)

You guys, there is so much good music - so many stellar artists...I don't even know what to do with myself. It's hard to produce content when you're consuming so much, and it's hard to stop consuming when everything's so tasty. Turkish Delight.
