Alcazar is all about the disco, it's their thing. Shame you didn't watch the music video or a live performance because they're doing alot of dancing and it's alot of fun.
I worked with them on their Disco Defenders and this was the finale and it was EPIC! The entire audience standing up and dancing. They are amazing live. FLAWLESS!
If you like the audio you should definitely see them perform. Their energy performing together with the energy of the music is amazing. Seeing them live is a privilege and a party :)
Ah, the live performance is much more worth it as songs like this work best with the visuals and dancing. Cool that you've picked this out. Alcazar is well known in europe, but its very very niche for Americans.
I still think this song is way better than the one that won Melodifestivalen 2009 The winner was La Voix, a "popera" tune sung by Malena Ernman. (Greta Thunberg's mother!)
Alcazar were amazing!!!!! try Crying At The Discotheque, This Is The World We Live In, Not A Sinner Nor A Saint, Love Life (written by Pet Shop Boys), Someday, Burning, We Keep On Rocking - soooooo many great songs
Unfortunately they broke up. In the begging were 4 members, then 3, then 2 and Lina joint the group. Andreas is the choreographer and their dance routines are epic, very energetic and complex. Their performances at Melodifestivalen are also amazing. Alcázar always delivered good vibes and fun entries.
They started with 3 people, but the 4th (Magnus Carlsson) joined sometime later because he was together with Andreas. He was a good addition to the group imo.
@@martincharron2399 Yeah I knew of the original. I loved the Jenny Silver version also. I was more thinking of a reaction to the video too. I will say I do think the original packs more of a punch.
You are right...and I gotta say that’s it’s very funny to see STEPS in their video to be using the same dance moves as Jenny. But it’s working. Thank you Lord we have the swedes ...they are so good for writing great pop music..... Ciao from Canada
saw them live ages ago... it was so much fun and so freaking sexy.... it was the foursome days... wow.. Crying At The Discotheque is THE hymn of the early 2000.... followed by a string of hits.... Love their Abba-tribute rendition of As Good As New.. very decent and they recorded a ABBA written song "Funky Feet" which was recorded during Arrival-session but dropped due the similiar vibes as Dancing Queen...
Hi from Sweden! I love your reactions and just became a subscriber:) If you're up for it I would love to see your reaction to Alcazars live performances from melodifesrivalen. They participated four times; 2003 - Not a sinner nor a saint 2005 - Alcastar 2009 - Stay the night 2010 - Headlines If so, i would firstly recommend Not sinner nor a saint ( my favourite) and second Alcastar :)
Great reaction !! If you like the Alcazar sound you should check the other bands from Alexander Bard (Alcazar producer at the star and creator of the band) like BWO (Living In A Fantasy / Lay Your Love On Me / Sunshine In The Rain and many more), Gravitonas (Religious, Kites, People Are Lonely, Lucky Star etc...) and last but not least the amazing first Alexander Bard band, the 90's extravaganza Army Of Lovers !!!!! Please react to the number one song Crucified ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-di18hTFTwIw.html !!!! One of the greatest track from 1991, still amazing and fresh those days ! There is no other band like Army Of Lovers !!!
Hey, Derek. You might like Alcazar's recording of Funky Feet, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tnq2oCKaiIo.html&ab_channel=justanickygthang written by Bjorn and Benny of Abba. It was originally recorded by Abba for "Arrival," but passed over for "Dancing Queen," which of course, became a HUGE hit!
