Hi mate, like you I just drink lager. I don’t drink everyday but when I do drink I drink too much. I get stomach trouble and all sorts of aches and pains from the booze. Sleep is terrible, I don’t go out much, I’ve got a fatty liver but I still crave the booze after a few days off. I just can’t see how I can get off it, I know it sounds stupid but everything feels better when I’ve had a few cans. Life seems boring without the booze, pointless even, feels like I’ve got nothing to look forward to. I can’t seem to enjoy anything unless I’ve had a few beers. How did you stop?
Hi thanks for your comments I. Know where you are coming from i tried many times to stop with meds from the GP but always had a relapse.. then a few years ago I was take to hospital (2019)..with complicated associated with alcohol abuse I nearly died tbh then the hospital Drs said “ if you drink again you will die ) so I r been sober since then and got fit again To stop for good you need a good reason and focus on that get back to me if you need help I suggest you chat to your Dr Too 👍
@@Manos-de-Piedra Probably 8-10 pints of strong lager (5%) 3-5 days a week. Never touch spirits or wine. I stopped for 4 months last year and did dry January this year, but the desire to drink again is immense, I love to be in bars, I like the way alcohol makes me feel
