How to work in the Petri technique ( Alcohol Ink ) - petri dish art, Petri art? Alcohol ink in resin can still be combated - for that you need to know your resin and the basic principles of using the ink in it. To begin with, we drip alcohol ink, and after that we either smear it in the resin with a stick, or leave it in this form, or fill it with a little transparent epoxy from above. Everything about this was so soothing from your art to the music, thank you so much. Plus I have a question, would these withstand the outdoors (sun and weather) and how would I attach them to a glass plate (UV resin or E6000?)

Although it all depends on the resin and its quality. And at the expense of fasteners to glass, it doesn’t really matter, the main thing is to sand the place of gluing a little before gluing, because if there is a perfectly smooth surface, then there is a chance that after some time it will peel off.

Alkahol ink SCRAPEGO, and white which is included in the set, this manufacturer. But your resin is more important, so you need to experiment. At what time to drip exactly into your resin, immediately, after, an hour, or after 3-5 hours.

if im only going for 1 - 2 colors, would 5 - 10 drops be enough for the effect? Asking because I want to make sure Im buying enough.

2-3 colors are enough for you 1) Colors should be different and contrasting 2) the resin must be thick, you need to wait a while, it all depends on the resin, somewhere 1 hour and somewhere even 6 hours. This is necessary so that the drawing made of alcoholic ink remains fixed. 3) and Yes - 10 drops be enough for the effect

Look at your resin so one resin hardens in 12 hours and another in 24 hours. It all depends on the manufacturer. so you need a thicker consistency. These are all experiments, and from the fact that you don’t know what will happen, you get a surprise and delight.
