In Tampa, FL, a man starts to scream and shout at the female officers in holding and refuses medical treatment. Multiple inmates arrive at the jail highly intoxicated and refuse to cooperate with the officers. They get put into isolation to sober up. In Paterson, NJ, a fight breaks out in the jail, and officers hurry to break it up.

I work in a huge liquor store, and I don't touch the stuff....I see what it does... I've been there for 14 years, and I have seen customers that became friends die. I've seen lives destroyed. My dad was a functioning alcoholic. My childhood was very traumatic. My mom was a Saint who loved an alcoholic and had a sad life. I pray my kids NEVER follow this life style.

@Lying Cat ummmm no... it's a family business, and I still have 2 young kids at home. The hours I get to work make it to where I can be home with my kiddos after school and not miss any of their functions. It's not my ideal job but my time with my kids come before everything. When they are older, I will go back to nursing. What I went to school for.

I pray the man who went in at 21 years of age and is now 33 years old, 45 minutes until he is released. He has earned a high school diploma and a welding certificate. God bless this man and helped him get a job and have a life! Thumbs up! Would love an update on this individual! He definitely got his mind on the right path. I hope he walks a straight path out on his own.

'Beer balls' is one of the several reasons why I quit drinking. I didn't start many fights, but if somebody started one with me I was down for seeing who could last it. PROTIP: NOBODY likes an angry drunk. If that's you, then you need to think about quitting. Trust a geezer who's been there on this one.

As someone who’s 2 years Alcohol free I was a heavy weight and I took so much to get me drunk and I was the WORST drunk and I feel so much better then I was then. I also go to therapy and have calls with a counselor.

I want to see more attempts from the jail staff at de-escalation tactics and alternatives to the restraint chair nearly every episode you see it used, is it misused/overused? I'm unsure until I can see the numbers nation wide and not just a small few jails across the nation though though an alternative method could be crucial in any deputy's toolkit, especially when physical restraints are being used

Even with alcohol impairing judgement I just don't understand why anyone would challenge a COP to a fight. It's not like they are untrained in protection. You will lose miserably. If 1 cant stop you? The others will in sheer numbers. Then you get multiple charges added to your disorderly. Good luck

I haven't had a drink since June 23rd, 2019. It's put me in a lot of fun, jovial places - but it's also put me in the hospital and jail once. I DO NOT miss the negative repercussions of being an alcoholic. It seriously changes wonderful people and makes them belligerent and psychotic.
