Wait, Wait! I went back looking again. Did y'all see how uniformed and tight the high leaps was? Everyone was was together as one. The leap was precise. In the air as one. That was amazing. All 4 of them did the same jump move in the air. That was Amazing!!!
Yes it does take a great deal of work and commitment. Here’s a typical week leading up to game day: Monday receive NEW sheet music. Practice playing in band room. Then to the field to walkthrough the NEW routine (formations, dance steps, etc). Repeat on Tuesday. Wednesday is a repeat except NO sheet music allowed on the field. . Yes, music memorized in 2 days. Friday rehearsal was the entire show multiple times! It was grueling at times but on gameday, there was nothing like the competition with the other band. It was all worth it when the crowd reacted to the music and the dance routine! Probably my best college experience and that was 45 years ago! Go Hampton Pirates! I love seeing HBCU bands perform!

@@jwill3856 Over twenty years out from an HBCU Band and I still remember a routine and I even came across some sheet music. You are spot on. If we missed a day, we could not march that week. There is nothing like going to an HBCU. The experience is different.

They all did amazing!! Very good, nice and tight band and band front and drum majors!! Extremely nice to actually get to see everyone and not just the drum majors and the front girls. They ALL work just as hard and deserve to be seen! So TY

This video is amazing. They I are killing it, dancers are on point and family-friendly, and the flags look good and different. I wasn’t a fan of ALcorn, but this year, I’m starting to appreciate them more. They’re starting to sound better and they look amazing in parades.

The hardest working show band in SWAC land, The Sounds of Dynamites and The Renowned Golden Girls/Purple Flashers. These kids are very determined and tuff.
I hate people that are this coordinated jk😂. I literally was a marching band groupie because I have zero rythm. They are so cool. Bravo to all these kids who work so hard at their craft they are all amazing!
Btw.. shout out for the flag girl footage.. they hardly ever get any play. I was in my high school band as a dancing doll and we were always sparring with the majorettes and flag girls and called them flag strags🥴 Looking back, they made the band look so beautiful.. cause when in the distance, you get so hyped when you see them flags flagging with swag and precision🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
