I've never seen anything like this live always on RU-vid, lol. Just imagine the amount of body strength and cardio needed to perform a 12min or so routine. These ladies are amazing and beautiful!!!!
Imagine being a band member that not only has to learn the music but also a routine. And all the standing and waiting wearing those uniforms. With head gear and holding the instruments. You did notice more than just the ladies right?
This is so awesome...especially the beginning walking up...when these kids have kids of their own...they will love watching this..they'll say..look at my Mom or Dad...this is awesome..I love it.
A lot of people have no idea how much work and planning goes into something like this. I did marching band in high school and we did competitions and whatnot and it was a lot of work for everyone. This requires perfect execution and 110% confidence. And they all did it well! And those ladies...oh my LORD those ladies... 🔥 🔥
Yes, careful planning: Step 1: Stand in place for 10 minutes. Step 2: March forward. Step 3: Act a fool Step 4: If you are male, stand still for 15 mintues, if you are female, start twerking. Step 5: March forward again Step 6: March in place while the front person acts like an idiot or does a fake high kick. The end. Soooooooo much planning.

I did not see any marching. I did see how ever, 4 really bad drum majors, color guard of dudes and I heard a "horn line" (cant believe i called them a horn line) over blowing and out of tune.
Ed Davie I didn't miss out on anything. Can see it just as easily on RU-vid (majorettes). Lol. As far as bands, my high school always had a nationally competitive band.
I do believe those girls high-kick even better than the NYC Rockettes! What a performance. The band is huge - the 4 drum majors are awesome. Whoever coordinates all these separate groups so that they appear as one unit does an amazing job.

Jasmine Valiente rockets aren’t supposed to kick their highest or else the lines would be all off cause they all have different leg lengths and stand in a specific order where everyone is visible at the same time. Trust me the rockets are more flexible😂😂 don’t undermine their ability these girls did amazing also

Love the 4 men in front giving it the "Big Strut", now that's what I like, go, go, go. My God, you just cannot beat the energy of this great marching band and their marching girls are on fire. Great job.

No lie when they finally started marching in my first words was damnnn!!! These kids are taking some time into practicing thats for sure. I love to see this!! Brings back memories of my band days. I usually love watching southern but gotta add y'all too.

No, that's not their entrance every game. They don't have a ramp. They practiced all year to imitate the home teams's band and dancers, The Sonic Boom of the South and the Prancing J-Settes. Alcorn Does not have it's own identity. It is sad that every other HBCU band does and they don't. They ate just imitators down to their uniforms.
I used to go to VSU when it was Virginia State College.Back then our football team had a losing record so the VSC Marching 110 was the star of the show!!!

I had to show her they are thick legs too and all the years she would cry years later and my Dentist 😆 people ask is it real 🤔 ridiculous .... and she call me. 🗣 no it skipped a generation and comeback with a vengeance OAN my mom kills me yes young mothers we were 56 I filmed her prancing then she was getting those legs up hit that kick 3 back to back poor people in VA Beach we amazed. Props to the whole band getting up in the stands. Tight narrow walkways. Smh! What an entrance to the dancers. One girl was inches from kicking her own self in the head. Lol! Hell! The Rockettes ain't got nothing on you ladies with the kicks. Very beautiful looking women. I'm sure there are even more in the band itself.
