I have recently discovered how delicious frozen grapes are. 🍇 I've taken a small container portion of frozen grapes in my lunch bag every day since my discovery. 🍇 They're best when slightly defrosted, so that works out perfectly for a morning work snack. Enjoy. 🍇
You could make heaps of blueberry muffins which could be frozen with the excess blueberries I wonder how far they've travelled and the grapes, given that they're in season in Australia right now
I’ve seen on other channels from the US something similar, but it seemed to be food from restaurants and cafes at end of day. Still good value but not the fruit and veg and meat ect that Karen gets. I wish we had them in Australia too!
Have never put glass in freezer before, so just had to read up on it (A mason jars website) "Use only Tapered Mason jars without shoulders: Jars with shoulders can break due to the expansion of the liquid when it freezes. Tapered jars allow to reduce the pressure when food starts to expand during the freezing process." 😺
I use all manner of jars and bottles to freeze things - soups, pasta sauces, butter, stews, liquids such as juices and stock - and I’ve never had one break on me yet. I don’t use mason jars for anything as they are stupidly expensive in this country. Headspace is the key, rather than shape of the jar.
It’s a better TGTG Aldi Box than mine , I got 4 boxes of Lychees and a few other things , but not that great, but you take the rough with the smooth did you choose your own box ?Others do buy them when you check on your phone it’s just that they tell you how many boxes are left , and you must have beaten others to it. If you get a TGTG box from the Food Company , they only allow you one/1 box so that other needy people can have a fair crack of the whip.
Tbh I think UK food, in supermarkets, has been somewhat subsidised for quite a while until about a year ago. As part of keeping the plebs relatively content, whilst killing off independents
