I've seen websites say this Support isn't necessarily romantic, but having watched it both in English and Japanese, it definitely feels romantic.

@@wits_end. all fire emblem supports since they were introduced have established friendships in their As, that only changes in their S rank or ring supports in their game. finding a friendship dialogue in the friendship rank doesn’t change that.

I guess you can read it as deep platonic friendship. But even then, there’s always a chance of a platonic developing into romantic, and Fire Emblem is a game where romance IS AN OPTION!
