Alear vs past Alear - Fire Emblem Engage 

Imagined if the DLC comes out, we can play as Alear but still has all of her memories after the 1,000 year sleep. Would it be intersting or would it be the same way?

I was fine with the blue-red hair. But then I saw the red haired Alear in that cutscene where she died. Holy shit, I gotta have more of that. She looks so damn good.

Sombron is insane with power. He doesn't care for anyone or anything, only seeks his own glory and the death of all others. Dragons in the Fire Emblem franchise are all doomed to fall to madness and death.

What really gets me is the pacing of her voice. The pause and shit she does when the text doesn’t show it at all. I have absolutely no experience with voice acting but I doubt a director is responsible for that; that’s all her

@@cheesecheese6459 Bunet was limited in range. You merely need to look up Kaguya english dub narrator and you see a hyper Bunet. But I will always take more Ian Sinclair since his voice is basically smooth butter.

@@scanchannel3259Well, the hair IS stupid looking. You get used to it, but they could’ve chosen a different pair of colors to show Alear’s dual nature. Red and blue just don’t look good together most of the time.

Anytime Alear is in danger of a dragon effective weapon, I usually throw Diamant/Ike at the enemy with Great Aether activated.

@@abicrystalwing1543 I use Timerra She's surprisingly a very good Tank with high dex and Def and her Sandstorm (150% def stat as damage with dex stat activation)

This was the first battle aside from the one after Destinea Cathedral that I just rushed through, mostly because of that turn limit. Usually, I like to get to where Astra Storm and Warp Ragnorake are both in range, and I have other units who can attack because if not Céline + Celica usually end up dying because of her god awful health. Of course this takes forever, but this one I speed ran and finished in, like 3 or 4 turns. It sucked

Well the blue part is presumably divine dragon while the red is definitely fell dragon

@@flallana18 during the first few chapters Lumera literally says she has been channeling her Divine dragon spirit into Alear, thus we end up with fell Alear's red smooth and natural whilst the Blue is an unnatural addition and unruly.

Yeah. She always saw a child in both Alears, so she adopted them. After being with the Divine Dragon, Fell Dragon Alear wanted to be the only Fell Dragon that believed in good, and protect Lumera. I believed both of them loved Lumera, even as a Fell Dragon.

Yup. Proof that the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. Being conceived by one does not make them your true parent-a true parent loves you. Lumera is Alear’s true mother. Not their blood mother, but the mother who loved them the way Sombron never did nor would.

Why the need to precise Female Alear? Alear is Alear always, regardless of which sex you chose at the start.

My first playthrough, I made her Hero with swords/lances. Killer Lance+5+Byleth is pretty much an instant kill to almost all enemies.

​@@just-Boldi I primarily use Sigurd for that extra move. But he also provides dex and def boost. She's my best unit, with Diamant/Ike at a close second. She's an insane dodge tank, especially with the high speed+Perceptive+Corrin fog+Framme ability+support bonuses.

Currently doing a hard Ironman and I found Alear + Corrin to be an extremely flexible duo that makes up for the fact my Alear struggles to contribute in combat.

What do you expect from Sombron's daughter who has been taught to not feel or express emotion? It wasn't until Alear met Lumera that she developed a personality.

@@flallana18 There's no either, we already know what's coming in the following waves. There's both a new story and new DLC Emblems, that btw have been datamined. SPOILER ALERT! . . . . . . . . . The five remaining DLC bracelets are Chrom, Hector, Veronica, Soren and Camilla. We don't know for sure whether they share their bracelets with another character or not though (for example the Sacred Stones Lords are coded as Eirika, while the House Leaders are coded as Edelgard), though some assets associated with Chrom seem to indicate that he's coming with Robin, from what I've heard.

We've known Emblems could get corrupted for a while. All of the good Emblems are more blue in general, as we can see in their eyes for example. It's most noticeable on people like Celica, Corrin, Leif or Micaiah who usually have red, brown or golden eyes, but even Marth etc have bluer eyes somehow. Some other details have also been made closer to blue, for example Byleth's hair has more blue in it, or Lucina's headband having gone from golden to silver.

@@giratinalight From what I gather, mage dragons are still dragons; just that they deal magic dmg instead of physical damage. So it’s basically just a different "type" of dragons!

1000 years comma after a near fatal wound? Having their fell dragon power split and corrupted by Divine dragon power, forgetting how they worked the powers the did.

Pretty sure we'll get them eventually, and I guess the fastest time we can get them would be this year's Fallen banner. Especially with how current Book heavily focused on Time Travel, and how candidates for Past Fallen banners seem, in some ways, reflecting the respective Books' theme or something about the final boss, Past Alear would fit this year's Fallen banner really well imo. I just wonder which Past Alear will get into Heroes first, Male or Female?

The voice is better too, I played male alear and I like his voice but sometimes it just feels too reserved and soft like he's always trying to be extra kind. Her voice is kind as well but it feels like it has more...personality in it.
