I really love Past Alear’s voice, it’s genuinely kind of chilling. I like how the opening sets you up to think that past Alear is crazy and deranged, but then he’s actually just… dead inside.
Honestly that makes Past Alear more tragic. With how uncaring Sombron was, Alear wasn’t allowed to show any weakness, otherwise he/she would meet the same fate as their siblings. Not to mention that they saw many of their siblings die.
and then you learn that the reason for that crazed smile in the opening seems to be past Alear being ecstatic over being able to kill the one who (indirectly) murdered almost all of their siblings, even if that person is their own father
@@vvinterfiower Honestly I don't think Alear would ever have believed Sombron to be anything other then a creator of him. *There was nothing really to make them THINK of sombron as a father.*
Yes! While I like female Alear's voice too, male Alear is just perfect to me. I'm really happy they made S supports equal to both genders so I could play as male.
Honestly, I find most of the voice acting to have less of an impact on me than three houses did. Though mechanically, Engage was better in most every way.
I feel like 'the past' might have made for an interesting game, how alear learned how to be a person rather than a tool. Might be the idea for one of the dlc I guess
@@eduardobustamante4749a warriors game with Alear soon defecting and it ending with them slaying sombron the first time around would actually be interesting. But the issue I kinda see is how would they address them, since they have no title of being the “divine one” because it’s obvious they are the fell child, not Lumera’s child back then. Maybe just give them their canon names or maybe give them the “Ashen Demon” treatment like Byleth in warriors
TBH, I didn't expect past Alear to be this "robotic". I was expecting a kind of chaotic behaviour, like how he was presented in Alear's dream at the start.
The one thing i do not get is, did Alear and his allies just cause a Time Paradox since after this battle the past Alear is found by his mother and then in the future it all just loops back to the past vs future Alear fight indefinitely to the end of time itself?
By going back in time they created their own reality, we can see that because the dream intro sequence that happens before they wake up has the 4 lords in it, which Alear wouldn’t have met by that point unless the lords also went back in time in the timeline we play the game in. Other than the question of who started the loop, it does work out.
Perhaps something is supposed to happen to alear that causes his mother to find him. And this just made it happen earlier. I theorized original he did fight her and lost and was spared by her taking pity on him
Nel and Nil are most likely the two younger siblings that were torn apart by the corrupted. If so they are long dead in our world, but survived in the alternate world of the fell xenologue.
Past Alear mentions at least four other siblings, besides Veyle, that have been killed. However, the game never specifies exactly how many siblings they have. Or their names.
