Very surprised at how a lot of these videos and information is suppressed from peoples eyes. So many more people need to see this, it truly is a governmental control we've never seen before. Very sad.
I'm sorry but these ban's are out of control , how are we supposed to learn and teach other's . I love all my animals and wish I found out how amazing they were sooner enough is enough
From Sweden I am just stunned at what is happening with the animal rights agenda in the US. In most of Europe we are used to not really having any restrictions at all on what animals we can and can't keep. And to see shady conmen trying to restrict people from caring for basically harmless animals in what is supposed to be "the land of the free" is just mind boggling. This whole thing just smells rotten. There has to be more going on behind the scenes than simple animal rights. I think these "animal rights" lobbyists are hiding behind this rhetoric to further something bigger and darker. This is not just an attack on reptile keeping. It is a fundamental attack on personal freedom.
This is Oregon people as you described will do this and I know because I was born in Washington and have my people in Oregon. This is my neck of the woods. Needs to be stopped. I will do my part.
This crap seriously blows my mind why they would ban people from educating others about animals. If we can’t educate and inspire the next generations about these amazing animals and how important they are to our ecosystems are planet is seriously doomed. Unfortunately a lot of people I talk to about reptiles have a fear of them that they were born with or learned from their parents or somewhere else. Without proper education and knowledge this fear only grows or gets passed down to others. From my experience teaching others about them this fear of the unknown is usually gone in minutes when shown these amazing animals because they can see and touch something that isn’t evil or bloodthirsty like they imagined or were told. Animal education is vital to teach and inspire the next generation. I gotta stop 🤦♂️ this topic has me so frustrated and angry on so many levels and don’t even want to imagine the outcomes of how this could effect endangered species, conservation, and how our children won’t be able to get proper knowledge about reptiles and probably never get the chance to get to touch reptiles and just be inspired about how amazing they are. I’m really loosing all hope for the future of this planet 🤦♂️ well I truly wish everyone the best and really hope we can all get together and fight these bills. Thank you so much truly for all the great work you and everyone at USARK does to protect our rights and the future of our beloved pets I just wish their were more people out there with this passion and understanding of how important it is to protect our rights and stop nonsense like this from going further. I’m in Oregon and I have a Savannah. Oregon already wants all my money, all my guns, gas powered toys and fun and happiness and children. They WILL NOT TAKE Naga from me and I will take her wherever I want.
Not sure how I ended up here, but I'm in the 2A community and I'm pretty surprised that the reptile community is in the same exact predicament as we are. Like... what is going on?!
It is a similar scenario to gun ownership legislation/bans. We see collective punishment (punishment of the whole due to the few) because of the bad/irresponsible owners who paint a black eye on all reptile owners. We are also fighting the VERY well-funded (as in over two billion dollars annually, collectively) non-profit animal rights groups that mislead donors and legislators. They are working to remove all animals from our lives. They are the ones who actually write these bills and then find legislators who will sponsor/introduce them. It is not just reptiles. They are working to ban all animal agriculture (chickens, cattle, etc. to create a vegan society), all pets (even dogs and cats), zoos, horse riding, and everything else dealing with animals. It is a radical agenda and most people do not realize it is happening. Those sad, emotional television commercials asking for your money to save dogs... this animal rights agenda is where the donations go, not to actually help animals. Have a good day.

@@cerberaodollam, just do an internet search for "animal rights agenda" if you want to learn more. Mainstream and well-supported charities like the ASPCA, Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), and others are the big money behind these actions but usually work through smaller, umbrella groups. Essentially, they are like PeTA in suits with more money and more attorneys but they all have the same agenda.

Absolute garbage legislation. They don't want people teaching other people about animals. This makes me so mad. How about fixing the drug problem in Portland. Instead they want to waste time with this BS.

I’m honestly thinking about moving out of the country too before it gets to the point we’re they won’t let us even leave with or pets. We really all need to come together and fight this bill and all others like it because next step they’ll take our rights to own any pets. What does the state of Oregon not want banned? Rioting is the only thing I have heard that they approve of. Never trust the “intent” of a legislator. Take all laws literally as written.
I just want to let you know that if you are referring to the BLM protests, it was blown WAY out of proportion. It is actually pretty funny, the news made it seem like the entire city of Portland was on FIRE. In reality there were some pretty intense pretests on like 4 blocks in the middle of downtown Portland. It was not very widespread at all. Also, by the way, I am really just trying to increase engagement in the video so it gets out to more people.
@@Thebeetleguy my sister has lived in Portland for seven years and I am not referring to the “protests”. Personally living as close to Baltimore as I do I imagine it was downplayed. We had six city blocks leveled and barely a titter on the local news. Personally I lived in cali for three years. I know what it is to be in a state where the legislators think regulating people to death makes the world a better place.
@@bethstinycritters I actually live in Oregon. I have lived here my entire life. Those protests were exaggerated. I know because I live like 20 miles from where they took place.

Oregon is not this lefty hellhole where gangs of pink haired lesbians roam the streets beating up every straight white male. I've lived as male my entire life here and have never been attacked nor faced any backlash for anything except from the right wing because of my sexuality.
