Bowman getting ready for Daytona and still joking with the guys. Obviously an actual good person. Garrett has the mullet, the Hogan handlebars and now the farmers tan to prove he is becoming Cleetus more each day. Maddie, how do you feel about the permanent transition that’s obviously too far to return from. Haha. Hope you enjoyed the race.
I can imagine cleeter is the same way he is and from 1320 videos to where he is now he has to be the best person to have as a friend everyone around him are the true definition of friends and he has so much more in-store for us fans keep up the good work and great things will keep coming you're way thanks so much for the best videos on RU-vid
Ever since Bowman came to the first Freedom 500, I have started watching NASCAR and have been a die hard Bowman fan. His 4 wins last year you would have though I won the powerball I was celebrating so much! Such an awesome genuine good dude! Cleet pairing up with Bowman couldn’t be a better match in history! Also getting Gordon to come race in an event at the Freedom Factory is literally the closest thing in the world to having Dale Sr there. Gordon and SR had the most legendary battles on earth, to polar opposites who started off hating each other, and earned the respect and admiration of one another over years of great racing.
@@Bward216 names like Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt are known throughout the country whether if you’re a fan or not. Also, Alex Bowman has been involved with the Cleetus crew for a decent while now. One of the first things you learn about as a nascar fan is the historic rivalry between Dale and Gordon.
I got to meet Jeff Gordon at Atlanta Motor Speedway. We got corporate tickets to the race from Kenworth (through their paint department) and got to attend the infield party with the team and had breakfast and lunch served in the crew's infield lot. Jeff talked to everybody. This was back when Atlanta was the last race of the season. It was a big party and we even attended the season championship celebration. All that for $100 tickets. Pretty awesome weekend (and Monday since the race was rained out and we stayed for the race on Monday). I remember calling my boss and saying I was going to be late for work. He asked how late and I said "no more than a day or two). lol
I now see Garzaa’s position in the pack. every crew needs that guy. he’s the dude you wind up to watch him go. he’s the first one to pass out & also the guy that chats with mom as she makes breakfast, while we sleep it off. I have a Garzaa…he’s probably the same height.
Guarantee that was A Hendrick team “guy” trying to assess the situation. Like if he needed to intervene and “save” Alex from the “interview” that was happening.
We used to race midgets against Gordon, Stewart, Schreader, and still do against Larson. I was at the Belleville High Banks the night Gordon won it. He had just turned 18 and lapped the field up to like 3rd place. It was an amazing run. And the party back at the hotel was pretty good too.
Does that mean you're in KS still then? We raced 360's and 410's (track dependent) back in the 80's and 90's and raced with him in Hanford. He was as cocky as everyone else and you could see talent-it was there. I miss the life but wrecked in '95 and stay away due to wreck... "results" lol Definitely miss being able to watch too-but CO simply doesn't have the quality of track we had in NorCal or that there is in a lot of the Midwest. So-I suffer with 1320' and 1000' type straight liners now LOL Be safe out there!
@@txpacket I lived in Texas at the time. I’m in Canada now. My step brother is still racing midgets though. Made the Saturday B feature at Chili Bowl this year. I only get to a few races a year now.
@@backcountryme Oh man! Good deal! Before I settled in CO, we were in DFW for a while. Really liked the area-but ya know... WORK lol Give your bro good vibes from an old school wrench! Female or not-I kicked ass out there and loved every second & miss it every day! When I go back home to NorCal, I do what I can to make it during WoO Gold Cup. Its my home track and do enjoy it just that much more. They basically closed down our other "local" track... Where Jimmy Sills had his driving school. The original fella who ran it passed away and all hell came out and took over. Totally sad! HOWEVER!!!! Now I gotta go back and watch the Chili Bowl!!!!!!! Hope all is well on your side of the continent!
@@txpacket thanks. His name is Kyle Jones. He will be running a lot of the new World of Outlaws Midget division this year. And I grew up in the DFW area. Have a great day.
Every time i see you guys drunk it makes my day, Daytona, mini dirtbike drinking race, when JH flipped in the pond and when he destroyed that poor green mower jumping plastic tables 😂 Good times
I miss going to NASCAR races. I grew up 20 minutes from Michigan International Speedway. Went there a lot when I was a kid. Attended every June race from 2006-2012. I moved to SWFL in September 2021. I’ve always wanted to go to the Daytona 500. Wanted to go with my dad, but he passed in March 2020. Been watching NASCAR for 40+ years.
Dude gordon might bring some of them old heads with him lol. It would be hell if ole swirvan Irvan came out too. Freaking living a fantasy brother, congrats
Thanks for taking us along brother. Been to several Nascar races, but never on the in field during a race. I appreciate. Please keep up the awesome videos. Lot's of love from the American Hillbilly and the Hillbilly Nation, Hillbilly Up brother.
So cool featuring the video walls I help build and run. I was behind the fence not knowing you were so close. Hope you enjoyed the race. Video screens would look great at the Freedom Factory for replays and interviews.
That was the funnest video to watch man. I’m glad y’all have fun. I would kill to see NASCAR at the freedom factory some how. Even if it’s the lower K&N series.
I haven't laughed this hard is such a long time yall are absolutely lubricated and enjoying yalls time keep content up like this 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 please and thank you
Looks like a good time and could see in the future "Mcfarland racing" sponsoring a car cause they already have big names wanting to have some fun and that's how the converstations get started :) Keep it up and i am sure you will entertain us for some time
I saw you guys on the interview they did on the big screens. I was like wow those guys look like cleetus's friends... then watched a little longer and realized oh shoot that IS cleetus and the gang
Jeff Gordon is the only NASCAR driver I've met (i live in australia) and that was a long long time ago. Ran into him when I was a kid in primary school. He was so happy kids new who he was over here. Allways been a fan ever since
That was the whole thing with his crash though, lots of drivers crashed or have since crashed in almost identical circumstances and lived which is why his death was such a shock. Of course now we know he didn't use a full face helmet, chose not to use a hans device, etc, etc because he was old school. That's why NASCAR made those things mandatory and not just "driver choice" like it was then so we don't have drivers die when they shouldn't.
I was there as well. Was my first Daytona five hunerd. Boy if I woulda known ole cleet was there I probably would have found you because the beers were a flowin wooooo 🤘🏼🏁
Well since your a big Bowman fan like myself it only seems fitting you come to his hometown , which is my hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Hell yeah brother
