I say this every time to my self so i thought id share. I love the animation of the starters at the bottom so much! It’s so cute.

Love that Alex Hirsch one! And the Mandrake Bard! I'd love to see more D&D references with monsters and classes used. Candivore's awesome too and the dark moments in Gravity Falls are fun. I would love to see that lumberjack ghost used in a moment with Pacifica's character here for bonding with her and seeing her vulnerable side. Plus, that lumberjack ghost would be an awesome team member to have.

Both Candivore and Hirschop look cool. As for the latter, I love how you made Alex Hirsch into a pokemon. Now, I'm low-key curious as to what some of the other Disney creators would look like as pokemon like Matt Braly, Dana Terrace, and Both Bill Motz and Bob Roth.

I love the designs but loodraloo is by far my favorite. Candivor looks epic. The lil guy at the center of it is so eerie. I do feel bad with the guy in the woods though...

Given Kittikact has a sour expression but also ties to fermented liquid, and can't decide whether I'd nickname one "Sourpuss", or give in to my Hazbin obsession and name it "Husk"

Mentioned that the next episode is in an Arcade, so I'm already hoping for maybe ghost or electric types, with fairy or dark for Giffany, and maybe a fighting type one for Rumble McSkirmish

Creating a 'mon based off of Alex Hirsch is honestly not something I anticipated but it's a really sweet idea! I hope he does see it at some point! Also, so many cool grass type designs this time! Candivore is probably my favorite - so freaking COOL!

The way you introduce the characters as trainers always surprises me, I didn't think of Toby Determined as the region's Grass-type master, but I love the whole explanation behind it and how it fits perfectly with Gravity Falls. Kittikact and Candivore are my favorites, if I were to put together a team, I would definitely put one of them on it, and I really didn't expect an Alex Hirsch pokemon, simply brilliant. I'm eagerly awaiting the next video!

Oh, wait a second... During the episode about the Founding Day festival, one guy gets married to a woodpecker; does that mean we might meet someone who is/gets married to a Pokemon? And in one episode, Dipper and Mable meet with Old Man McGugget and his raccoon wife. I gave no idea if you're going to incorporate that, but it's hilarious to think about everyone's reaction.

Now, I like kittikact, but please, PLEASE give it a stat spread that is different from cacturne. We already have a cacturne rip off that is official with scovillain (both are 2 stage grass lines whose pre evolutions are found in the desert and those pre evolutions are mono grass while they are dual types. Plus, they have almost the same stats. Calling it an "official rip off" is not an exaggeration. This is why I hate scovillain. It's a dumb looking thing that is a rip off of a pokémon I really like) and we don't need another one. Oh yeah, have you heard that the pokémon manga is really violent? Lysandre falls and breaks his spine, archie and maxie kill people and rayquaza literally stabs zinnia. Who said pokémon was for kids...?

I’m going to be completely honest, based on the title I thought Alex Hirsch was going to be the “ugly beast”😂

Team: Coybra. 🐍 Lilurk. 🦇 Fauxline. 🦑 Tragicarp. 🐟 Spokeeli. 🕷️ Kakurusai. 🐹 I've been busy with a LOT of school lately, so my comments aren't going to be as consistent. Even though barely anyone stops to read theses, I'll try to comment at least with in the first two weeks. So, my Team is at it's final stage with my Snake, Moth, Squid (?), Fish (?), Spider and Mouse pokemon as official stays on the squad. The next sucker with a machine peace was a washed out news reporter named Tobbert. Despite being a Grass Type Specialist, his pokemon were bulky as a Shuckle. Lilurk took out the first two with ease, i was confident till Tobbert's third pokemon. I switched to Tragicarp when Lilurk was in the red, and after a LONG battle, Tragicarp came out on top. I didn't think that wasn't his last pokemon till his ACTUAL ace hit the field...... It's been a while cents i used it anyway, so i switched to Spokeeli to take out the monstrosity of a Candivore After my long struggle with Tobbert, Corenilea snatched the peace for me and handed it over, i was going to report back to my uncle but Moos suggested i should relax for a bit with him at the local arcade, i consideration, (especially after the stress of fighting Tobberts tanky team) i agreed. Besides i deserved it, to the arcade!

The moment I saw Kittikcat, I knew I wanted to be the one to make it smile. Anyways, I really need to rewatch Gravity Falls at some point, but if my memory serves me correct, I have a feeling that something based on a certain fighting game and/or dating sim character may make an appearance.

K now I kind of want more pokemon based off of dnd classes. Please 🙏🙏 Like what about a werewolf barbarian that has a peaceful and rage form? Or a bookworm wizard?

"I'm still in the woods with my shack friends. After cleaning up a recent mess we made, we met Suzie. And she gave us directions to an object that supposedly flew by. We saw arrows that tried to trip us up, but my next encounter might just be more confusing. We all speculated what could be in the forest. Moos guessed that it might be another Ultra Beast. I was a bit skeptical on that though. I find it hard to believe that we'd see two Ultra Beasts in close proximity. We kept on talking until we saw a shadow up ahead. We move closer and find that... It was another person. His name was Tobbert and he looked to be a reporter for a news show. I kinda feel bad for him. Man lost his job just because he wasn't... good in their eyes. For lack of better phrasing. Anyway, he perked up as soon as he pulled a ticket shaped slab out of his pocket. That looked EXACTLY like the objects Moos and Cordelia had! This man is my target! And of course, he wouldn't give it up without a fight. I open with Duffy, who easily dealt with his grumpy lil' kitty. Then he sent out a few stranger Pokemon. They both looked human. One of them even bared a strange resemblance to someone I knew. I didn't question it and had Duffy handle the one most weak to Flying. The other I had Cosmo take care of. With a clever bait and switch, Cosmo tricked the bard into thinking it was fighting the younger Kipsy! My big cat stuck around for a bit longer until Tobbert's final Pokemon. It was a tree with globs of sweet red sap that replaced the leaves. Sweet red sap? That sounds familiar... And don't just take it from me. Once it knocked out Cosmo, my Canitrop Rose came out to see it! I think Rose wanted to challenge it. I could definitely sense a rivalry here. She wanted to be the top plant! So! I let her fight it! It was a long battle, but eventually the student took out the master! The battle was won, and Cordelia swiftly grabbed the object from Tobbert's hands! She showed it to us, and we all celebrated. But then all of a sudden, Rose started to sparkle a bit. She jumped out of my arms and landed in the middle. Soon I realized what she was anticipating. There was no mistaking what those sparkles were! Rose was evolving! She started to glow white and increase in size, becoming the height of a small tree. As she continued, it turned out she was a tree! The same tree she fought seconds ago! That tree is her evolution, Candivore! When the particles disappeared, I noticed her sap was black instead of white. I would say this defeated the purpose of her name, but black and white roses are a thing. So... yeah. Everybody gathered around her, all in awe of the spectacle. Maple then reminded us that we needed to take the object back to the Professor. She had a good point. We've been out here for a while. So most of us went back to the shack. Moos offered Rose and I a shot at the arcade. I couldn't help but accept it, I do love a challenge! Rose was also excited. I mean... I don't blame her. She's my first shiny, and the first of my team to evolve! That's a pretty big achievement! And I can't wait to see what the rest of my crew will evolve into." I continue to love the designs of the Hoh’ax region and the blending of Gravity Falls aspects. The weirdness of the Pokémon world (sending kids out to train super-powered animals) with the natural supernatural of Gravity Falls, Oregon! The fact I am a fan of both is just the Canitrop on top. (A little lazy to skim the videos to find the actual spelling of Candivore’s pre-evolution.)

Are you going to do a "designed by you" episode like with the dino fakemon region cause I have an idea for a good one, a 2 stage duel poison/ fairy type based on the Loveland frogman, with the 1st stage being a tadpole that looks like a buckeye cand to reference the frogman being from Ohio, and the actually frogman having ridges along it's sides and back that it runs to make sound based attacks like those wooded frog toys that make a "ribbit" sound when you rub a stick along it's back, I don't have a name for it sorry to say.

Candivore is absolutely amazing! This makes me want to start writing a narrative to go along with your videos. Something that goes into more description on what Pokémon my character catches, how they catch them, how battles play out, etc. I actually received an inspiration (pun intended) just now. “Candivore knocks out Lilurk with a Seed Bomb just as Lilurk’s Wing Attack connects with another of those glowing eyes. You’re down to your last Pokémon, and it’s not a good matchup. You send out Coybra, your partner since the beginning, to stare down this monstrosity. Candivore is weakened, but it’s strong and one attack can take out Coybra if it connects. Coybra has an attack that can work, but you’ll need to get him close and score a critical hit to win. That’s when you spot it. The glowing orbs of sap have been misleading you this whole time. The creatures true head is dangling under the red substance. Coybra senses your realization, turns, and gives you an encouraging nod. You formulate the plan in your head instantly. Coybra, use Water Gun! The gout of water spews forth, hitting Candivore in its true head. Not very effective, but it does what you intended. Blinds it for that split second you need for your plan to fall into place. Tobbert laughs “You think that silly snake can harm my ace with that puny attack?! Carnivore use seed bomb!” The emerald glow of the seed leaves trails of red sap in its wake as it collides where Coybra was standing. “What?! Where is that snake?!” Tobbert screams. Coybra used water gun as a distraction, only for it to charge up its mist to disappear into. Tobbert sees the golden glow of Coybra’s eyes too late, dangling from one of Candivore’s branches. “Coybra! Use Ice Fang!” You command your partner. Coybra drops from the branch, landing right onto Candirove’s noggin, bares its iced over fangs, and sinks them in. It’s a critical hit and with the worst brain freeze it’ll ever have, Carnivore crashes to the ground, unconscious. Coybra slithers back to your side and you give each other a hug and jump in victory!” I know there isn’t a moveset published for them yet, but I feel Ice Fang would be appropriate given Coybra’s cold environment he’s been traveling in. Or maybe it was a TM found along the way. Or even a different move used to end the battle. It’s just the first one that came to my head. This series is amazing and inspiring. I look forward to it every other week. Great job Froopy!

Oh this is MY episode as a self proclaimed grass trainer. I would sell my soul for Kittikact, Hirschop... imma wait to see what that looks like when it evolves the toe fungus kinda putting me off ngl. The bard mandrake root... you're JOKING. I need you to just make an actual cryptid game like I need my hands on it, and AHHHH CANDIVORE. I like the prevo - but this SOLD ME COMPLETELY. I love it so much!!!

All we got here are mainly Grass type pokemon! Not complaining here but I was hoping for the starters to evolve by now; maybe in the next episode. Sorry if I don't know of Alex Hirsch, but I bet he'll like Hirschop even if I don't. I knew instantly you had made a Bigfoot pokemon, but not that it will evolve later into something more like Bigfoot (the monopod reminds me of the dufflepuds from Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader). I thought Canitrop would have a nice middle stage design, but we got Candivore, not one of my favorites so far. Looladroo is about as wacky as one can make for a pokemon, I like the overall appearance though. I get the feeling Kittikact will evolve and be more grumpy and fierce with a lean and spiky body and a swishing whip-like tail that'll really leave stings!

I don't normally use pure Grass types, but I do need at least one Grass move to handle Water/Ground types, so I'll see what Kittikact evolves into. I do use Fighting types, and I really like Hirschop's design, so this Fighting/Grass type is a definite possibility. I don't normally use Normal types, but I do like Loodraloo's design, so it's a "maybe". Finally, I like Candivore's design, but I don't normally use pure Grass types, so it'll depend on who else is in my final team.

Hi Froopy, nice video again. Just curious, seeing the mandrake reminds me of dungeon meshi, an anime that centers around the lore of dungeons and monsters. Its really good. Do you watch dungeon meshi. If so, are you planning to add monsters to your dex like the basilisk or kelpie?

I’m sure if Alex saw this, he would would be very pleased. Anyways, I just love this project. Gravity falls and Pokemon and two of my favorite pieces of media, (out of many of others that I like lol) so seeing them combined is just amazing. I can’t wait to see what’s next for the story of Hoh’ax.

I want a kittikact now

Now, I have an idea for a Pokémon and I get it might sound weird, BUT I remember that in the anime, there was an episode about a ghastly that took the form of a beautiful ghost woman and at the end of the episode, the ghastly summoned these green ghost skulls I think? It’s been a while since I saw it. Anyway, Ash wondered what kind of Pokémon it was and pulled up the Pokédex only for it to say that the ghost skulls weren’t Pokémon at all. So maybe, you could include those ghost skulls as actual Pokémon here or make a Pokémon based on them. I think it fits in pretty well with the cryptic theming of these Pokémon. You could say something like, the ghost skulls were so cryptic that the Pokédex couldn’t recognise them as Pokémon or something.

Since none of my Pokemon are weak to Grass Types, this was an easy battle. Glad I finally received the 3rd Device Piece. Though no team change for now. Current Team, 1 - Shrubbun 2 - Capnary 3 - Dunsparce (Regional Form) 4 - Fauxline 5 - Egg ??? EGG PROGRESS - Egg is shaking constantly, it may be close to hatching soon. Hopefully the Egg will be hatching soon, I'm really curious of what it'll be.

I love your interpretation of the mandrake! I think adding something really helped make it stand out!

While it's evolution is top notch, I'm gonna have to switch out Canitrop after it evolves and replace it with a Hirschop. It's got a funny design, is a nice reference to the creator of Gravity Falls and it'll evolve into a Big Foot type monster. Just so much more I like about it than Canitrop and Candivore.
