As a life long musician (bass), and lover of jazz, this set was a feast for my ears and a joy to behold (excellent recording). The keyboards weaving a background thread throughout, while the guitar and sax play off each other, often attaining stratospheric heights, leaving the bass player to lay down the low end while effortlessly adding tasty licks to compliment the main theme, and last, but certainly not least, the drummer, who manages to hold it all together with the perfect blend of accents and off beats, but somehow never getting in the way. Bravo to all involved.
Magnificent playing from all involved, but what's truly extraordinary is how they work together as an ensemble. No egos or posturing here - every player serves the groove.
Communication is known to be most important means of international understanding all over the world 🌎! Just an important it is hier on stage ! How skillfully “FIVE”do that among themselves to see wonderful and above all hear how the dialogue between the instruments works perfectly ! This isn’t coming anywhere ,is learned and studied ,but above all - Feeling ! These musicians are Virtuosos ! And the KOZLOV CLUB ,place where only the best of them meet ! I’m a loyal Fan of this and infinitely enthusiastic about what happens to music , improvisation, arrangements and performance ! Of course my best One ☝🏼 HUTCHI is and remains perfect for me forever , because He is my favorite on the Guitar 🎸 The man dominates all genres of music, like no one else in the world 🌍 ! Chapeau ! Wow-what an amazing set and an amazing band. And of course, Alex is one of my all-time guitar heroes so I can't say enough nice thig=ngs about this guy. He is beyond brilliant and amazing. I love his style and try to play somewhere near his way of playing but I'm a long way off because of Alex's talent. Great gig though, all amazing musicians. Peace
Very, very nice sound :) Great musical talent right there from everybody! I'm tripping out on this stuff! They're all soooooooooo great. I love that drummer.
Bloody Great as always wth Alex H! Went to see both gigs he played here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. CD quality on stage with the most expressive virtuosity! The bass player here in this gig came over a few times and I found him jamming in local bars with the country's best muzos.
Great playing - man I would luv to see Alex and Frank Gambale trading guitar licks live as they both are technical masters with that guitar - WOW is all I could say!
What a sweet, brutally pleasure, such a Artist like YOU ARE ALLOWED to enjoy! HUTCHI , I tell You ,You are not only Tunes Maestro , You are GUITAR 🎸 MONSTER 👺, You’re killing me with your Style of playing at all, but your TECHNIK on your Instrument is MANAGEMENT! Great, greater , greatest…….HUTCHI ! Kocham 💄CHAPEAU ALL OF on the Stage !
Alex is an outstanding player, but he'd probably tell you he's standing on Vai's shoulders. Vai's a humble guy too. He'd probably tell you he's standing on Jango's shoulders. Jango would say he's standing on.... You get the idea. Each era has it's virtuoso artists. The enlightened ones aknowledge respect and build upon those who came before them.
This green guitar is a Waghorn Guitars AH6 Ocean burst quilted drop top according to my internet search. You can see closeups of it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--F8e_X8-Rqo.html and also here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yrrfG0kLpOg.html
