Karaban would be a game changer. If he’s back - UConn favorite for 3-peat

Karaban Started for 2 years & was Crucial in Both Championship Runs ! ! Can UCONN really replace his Talent & Experience ? If he's back... 3-Peat !

Watched UCONN's 5th or 6th game last year, and you could tell they were going all the way, they looked that special, so it won't take long to tell!

He makes the difference between going 11 deep or 10 deep. Whoever ends up getting minutes at the 3 and 4, Hurley will have them coached up and playing hard. Look for Stewart, Ball and Johnson to take big jumps.

Karaban decision analysis summarized perfectly by MZ- I don’t think there’s a downside either way. Obviously who wouldn’t want number 11 back, but it also will open up many minutes for some of the young thoroughbreds.

People can talk Kansas , Duke & other teams being " Favorites " until they turn Purple, but if Karaban comes back.... UCONN my Favorite by FAR !

Less Karaban developes Jaylin Stewart more. I think either way we are fine. If we start getting injured though that's when Karaban matters, having depth etc

if one player makes or breaks the chance of a 3peat UC is in trouble, its a team sport.
@LockedOnUConn
@LockedOnUConn Месяц назад
This is true, but in that team game. If 1 player draws attention away from the other 4 on the court it just makes a good team become great and a great team become Championship level. Some guys are just really hard to replace. Alex would be one of those guys.
@BlyGuy

For sure, but a guy of Karaban's skill level and more importantly leadership qualities for a mostly young squad puts Uconn fully in the driver's seat to 3peat.

Jalen is good. But Jalen did not impress as a freshman in the way that AK did. AK is a glue player and his return is crucial to UConn’s chances.

Some pretty gross comments on here about this being an “amateur site” or the way a particular guest speaks. Please take the negativity someplace else. MZ is totally prepared everyday - this is obvious for anyone who listens or watches this show on a regular basis. Plus, the show doesn’t cost a dime. BTW- I have no association with this show other than subscribing.

He has to come back I seen 2 mock drafts that don’t even have him drafted at all if he wants to make some quick cash he can go overseas and make good money over there but for him to be drafted in the first round this year would be shocking just my opinion

If the NBA told him he's not going to be drafted high, he should come back and make nil money, to improve his position next year!

@JBeck33 Месяц назад
I’m not saying this to be mean, but the majority of people that do mocks have no idea what teams are going to do. But, the beauty of going through the combine is Alex will get real feedback from teams. If he doesn’t feel like he’ll sneak into the tail end of the 1st based on that feedback, he’ll be back.

@@JBeck33 sorry to burst your bubble but he’s one of the players from what I read that should return to school if he enters the draft I would be shocked if he got drafted in the first round he’s not 6’8 he’s only 6’6 which makes him a 2 guard is he quick enough to guard these athletic 2 in the nba I like AK but if he stays he may not get drafted at all I saw 2 mock drafts where he wasn’t even drafted at all big risk to take may end up like Sanogo tough decision
@JBeck33
@JBeck33 Месяц назад
@@Prdr27494 not bursting my bubble, I don’t expect him to get 1st rd feedback and I do expect him to be back. That said, if he did stay in the draft, he would absolutely get drafted in the 2nd.
