Thank you Steven Moffat for writing such a brilliant role of River Song. Alex Kingstong is the most warm generous actress I've come across and I can't wait to have a one on one video chat with her on Saturday. Can't find The Ruby's Curse at any book stores near me though I can easily buy it on eBook but as anybook nerd knows sometimes you want the actual hardcover book.
You can preorder the book on Amazon and probably a few places more if you google it. You can get the audiobook now from Audible. I did both. The audiobook is absolutely wonderful. @@joanwerthman4116 Oh I'm getting the audiobook too beause, how could I not? Fortunately I will be able to have a short video chat with Alex on Saturday and I wanted to show the physical book. Unfortunately Amazon won't release it until some time in June. I watched 1.5 season of Doctor Who on late summer nights as a kid but only recently in lockdown life I binged watched NuWho, Torchwood, and SJA in two months. I know of the RIver Song audiobooks and trust that they are on my list as well as finding a way to watch the classic series.

As for the book, check out Book Depository. They ship from the UK so my copy is already on its way here despite the US technically having a later release date :)
Wow i thought she would be just like river, who is larger than life all the time, but she is much more demure and down to earth. She also has a killer speaking voice. I could listen to her talk all day.

seeing all of these press videos that Alex is doing for her book really makes me think of how glorious her time with Doctor Who was - her episode with Peter was a true end-of-an-era moment for me

I want my fellow doctor who fans to help me convince Alex to be the next doctor who show runner I'm very impressed by her passion of the world she never disrespects the fan's and is inclusive to all of us I think she would do a great job
It would be great if a true Who enthusiast took over the series. But first I'd like to hear how she would fix the damage to the canon caused by the Timeless Child story. As a longtime Whovian myself, I want to see that mess gone, but in a way that doesn't rock the inner logic of the series' story. Maybe she could have the Twelfth Doctor wake up on the TARDIS, turn to Nardol and say "I just had a crazy dream..." Or maybe not. Which is why everyone should be glad that I am not the showrunner....

I’m 26 years old and engaged to a man I love with everything I have, but there’s some weird part of me that feels that in another life, this woman is my soulmate. 😂 I feel such a connection to who she is as a person and to every single character she portrays, finding new and often surprising ways to delight and enchant us with each project and venture. She was such an integral part to my formative years, and in turn, of who I am now; she’s also single handedly gotten me through some very dark spots in my life without even knowing I exist. I live on the opposite side of the globe so unfortunately it won’t be anytime soon, but I do hope I get to tell her how much she means to me one day.
Dear Alex, I loved Melody Malones adventures in ancient Eygpt and old New York. I hated when I came to the end. Please Alex, please give us another. The formula was excellent. I wonder how River song managed to get the liquors in Capaldi’s TARDIS in the first place, since it was the first time she met that version of him. My best guess would be that she snuck it in while he was the 11th doctor because he had the same TARDIS during the latter half of Series 7, and it is implied she had some adventures with him after Angels take Manhattan, so maybe she was still with him when he changed the console room, and that’s when she did it.
Peter Capaldi's "Hello, Sweetie" is also my favourite. Best way to bring the story around... We're still missing that River and Missy adventure, though. Imagine if, instead of partnering with Clara in The Wizard's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar, Missy partnered with River? It would've messed up with the surprise of the new face, but it would've been FANTASTIC.
Saddest regeneration goes to Smith. Most relatable doctor goes to Smith. Most emotional impactful goes to Smith/Tennant. Most admirable goes to Capaldi. Most unpredictable goes to Eccleston. Yet.. River Song kept them all under tabs 😂👀
Yanno what I absolutely hate reading books but I love Doctor Who so much (it was me and my grandads thing RIP 🥰) and I want to get the book now. Plus River Song and Alex Kingston are just Iconic x

For classic I love 7 I just do, Sylvester McCoy just did a fantastic job! For New I have to say 11 Matt Smith’s Doctor just reminds me of myself a lot. But honestly I love all the Doctors as they are all so unique and have so much to love about them.

Characters like River and Jack - their stories are OVER. Bringing them back is/was a horrible idea. You can't just rely on other writers' characters for your own doctor who. Chibnall needs to get a grip and be more original - I honestly don't see how bringing River back will benefit the series. I mainly stopped watching due to a lack of originality in the writing - Chibnall is just bland as a writer.

would love to see a river song spin off kind of a even newer twice to doctor who , maybe traveling threw time fixing the doctors messes :P or helping him / her ( meaning the doctor ) with issues from behind the seen ?? but hey what do i know
