I was diagnosed with FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) in 2019 and last year a second diagnosis Functional Cognitive Disorder (symptoms similar to early stage Dementia) It is a complex condition, even the best neurologists, still don't have a clue what is causing it. It is so great to see FND making more aware among the public, because we struggle with so many things and in most cases due to our symptoms, that are not fake, it is such a fight to be heard by specialists and all kinds of government agencies. I'm fighting to be heard for almost 5 years and I won't give up and I want to thank Alex a million times, you are such an inspiration for us all who are dealing with FND ❤❤❤

@@RA-yf4tk It is staged most of the times. If that was any other person, Simon would have buzzed. The show goes against treating everyone equally regardless of disability.

@@goodersdudderssketchshow2512well, if you think treating people the same means to measure everyone against the same standards, you're wrong. Treating people the same means to be aware of where they come from, what they achieved against all odds and how outstanding it is, that somebody with autism and ticks can perform like that!

Just better to be honest, that is all. At some point his fame will dry up, may have already and he will realise he got through as a sympathy card. Yes, there are comedians with autism that are good but are successful because they are good at what they do, not because of the sympathy card.

Both him and the camp comedian with accents were on par with their followups to their auditions if you ask me. Not fantastic

Fair play to the guy he has achieved so much considering his tic, but I’m afraid he’s just not funny. Loads of respect for him just not funny imho.

This was the exact opposite of a “sob act”. He literally poked fun at his own disability. How is that trying to garner sympathy??? 🤔🤦‍♂️

@@tombartram7384Frankly no I don’t, and he wasn’t milking anything. That was his act and he did it brilliantly. The audience reaction is testament to that. Why do you need to be so cynical just because you personally didn’t like it?
