Alex Morgan Takes NYC: Parade Float, City Hall Entrance, Victory Speech & Key to the City - 7-10-19 

USWNT co-captain and NWSL Orlando Pride star striker, Alex Morgan spends the morning of July 10th, 2019 taking over New York City as she celebrated Team USA's Women's World Cup ("WWC") win on a ticker tape parade float down the Canyon of Heroes (or Heroiness), was introduced at City Hall, where she then went on to give a victory speech and lastly, received the key to the city for the second time. The USWNT defeated the Netherlands 2-0 in the WWC Final held on July 7th, 2019 at Stade de Lyon in France to claim their second consecutive title and fourth overall in franchise history. Morgan was awarded the silver boot as second top goal scorer of the tournament, being level on six goals and three assists with Megan Rapinoe ("Pinoe") but having played more minutes (the tiebreaker).
