#marvellegends #ironman #actionfigures #hasbro Today, we are taking a look at the all new Hasbro Marvel Legends Controller wave Iron Man, based on the art of Alex Ross! Follow 5POA Figure Reviews on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
For me it's the Alex Ross trilogy. 80th anniversary, the upcoming Heroes Return or Renaissance Armor and this Model 70... maybe Silver Centurion before this one.. ah but then there's Modular!! All these Iron Men are so damn good!
Great review, for real! Very complete how you compared his look with other versions. I also loved you included the confusion on the line of the versus which you could have re-done. Now, it seems you called yourself on an IronMan versus hahaha great one again!
I have AI, Stealth, Silver Centurion, and Modular Iron Man figures for my Iron Man armory, But do I need him? Yes, Because I love the design for his suit and the armor looks unique in its own way, I will get him along with hologram Iron Man. Great review Jason.
I’m really enjoying your videos. You remind me of the late great Glenn Webb. I hope that doesn’t put any pressure on you, you’re doing an awesome job is all I’m saying.
I love how you were able to capture the comparisons between the other ML and MS versions. It displayed the contrast in work that really emphasized the fact that when ML is good, its good - but when its bad - urgh! For instance, when you put the 20th Ann next to 70 I hope I was not the only viewer who could really appreciate the effort in detailing that makes the 20th look like a bath toy. I also wish that 70 had a bit of that "after-glow" paint effect ML did on the new Havok's chest symbol onto Shellhead's chest plate. As beautiful as it is, and a great job by the ML team, this is still a pass as I only have room for two and I don't see 70 replacing the 80th Ann (with the Big 3) or the S.C. (w/the other W.C. Avengers). Now if ML would only make a Golden Armored Bucket IM ala Avengers # 1 - then I could officially declare I'll have my 3 favorite versions. Curious though, if you could pick three versions of IM (could be an ML or MS) which would you choose? Let me guess - Stealth?
No, the contrast of 20th Anniversary was not lost on me. I believe I commented on that in my video on it, but I can't remember. The McDonald's red and yellow doesn't bother me AS much because it feels very much like an old comic, but it can't compete with the 80 Years. If I could only have three, you are absolutely right about Stealth, and also 80 Years and Modular.
@@5POAFigureReviews yes you did comment - however our eyes aren't lying. Ahahaha ya McShellhead does a better old school then the golden 80th. Did you get the DST MS Silver Centurion? I am going to check out your vids......
Nice review. I stopped collecting Marvel Legends... except for Ironman figures I guess because that looks cool. Specially if you use blue Luminous marker on the outer cicles. I am also saving up to buy the McFarlane Lex Luthor the Green one for my first DC villain
@@5POAFigureReviews It took a while but I saw it. You're right, it looks sweet. But Lex looks too good. Hehehe I'll get the bad one first. Though it's funny for me to have a Batman as my first hero and have a Lex as my first villain.
Hey Jason what would you think about this kitbash Animated series Superman repaint head on the 1000 comics Superman figure with the arms/thighs of rebirth Superman
@5POAFigureReviews Actually the 'marriage' is a public facade, a part of Tony's goal to help the X-Men and take down the asshat who took over Stark Enterprises and merged Iron Man tech with Sentinels. No worries though. Thanks to Kingpin and Deadpool, Tony's well on his way to making a new suit. Yeah comics are conplicated...
