This is a little known track by one of Australia's great rock voices of the 80's and 90's, Alex Smith, he of Moving Pictures fame and the classic Oz track What About Me.
It was recorded in the early 90's and the clip was made by Perpetual Motion Pictures, directed & edited by Maurice Todman and produced by Jo Cadman.
After stumbling across an old VHS history reel of mine, I thought it a timely reminder of Alex's unique vocals with a track not many people have heard. My apologies for the occasional and small audio dropouts but considering the age of the VHS, it stacks up okay but if anyone out there has an MP3 or similar version of the song, message me, send it and I'll redub it.

Dear Maurice, I spent countless hours these past twenty something years searching for this song. I only remember the chorus. I can now sleep in peace. Massive thank you for bringing back beautiful memory.

I remember I first heard this song on Hey Hey it Saturday, (I was about 12) got the CD Single the next day. Its a song that has stood the test of time. I guess it kind of slipped under the radar, but thats fine it a gem!

As a lover of Great and unique voices, like Alex Smith, Keith Urban ... Seems I have a thing for Aussies. Loved this voices since I first herd it in 1980.

Alex Smith is in my top 3 male singers from Australia. Farnham, Barnes and Alex Smith. A surprise his solo career didn't have greater success.
