Alexander Technique can be really useful in helping recover from injury. Have a look around some of the other videos on the channel to see if any of them might be helpful to you!

i don’t know if this can be answered as i been working with Somatics to need to help with what they call SMA (sensory Memory Amnesia) similar to your understanding. i have been diagnosed with osteoporosis , so i don’t know how that has effected my tensions, pains ,movements, so thank you for sharing your you tubes. what about people diagnosed with scolliosis having back problems that won’t even think AT can help them i believe it can, but, walking with a rolling walker how can i speak to someone to help them ease tensions?

Sorry for the late reply and also sorry to hear about your osteoporosis. As you know, having weakened bones means that it is even more important that you use yourself well to avoid putting to much stress on them. Many people who study Alexander Technique are suffering from Osteoporosis, Scoliosis and a wide range of other back problems and find it very useful in managing their condition. If mobility is very limited, some people find that laying down in constructive rest gives a lot of relief but if laying down is too difficult, working on sitting with less tension may be more useful. Balance is crucial as if we are in balance, we are placing the least amount of stress on our joints. walking with a rolling walker also presents challenges. How do you use the walker for balance without it causing you to stiffen your upper body up which makes balance worse! I've not made a video about using a walker but I did make one about using crutches. Lots of the ideas from that one might help. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aRl4r_j5mLQ.html All the best, Pete
