Ik heb een 147, model na de facelift (zoals op de video). Mijn alfa is van 2006, 1.6 twin-spark met 120 PK, uitgevoerd met zwart leer, bose, etc. Geweldige auto! Enige wat ik eraan gehad heb zijn de draagarmen, wat echt een zwak punt is van deze alfa's ,verder alleen regulier onderhoud! Dus als je checkt of de draagarmen goed zijn, kun je er gerust een kopen. Ik heb er ondertussen 40.000 km in gereden, hij heeft 104.000 gelopen en ik vertrouw hem blind! En geef nou toe, het is toch heel wat mooier op de inrit als de grijze massa die iedereen in de buurt al heeft.

I bought one of these Alfas new 10 years ago and I still have it in great shape. The guy describes very accurately the usual issues you may come across. But in general the car runs perfectly with no issues. Two very important principles in my view: a) always warm the engine up for 2-3 min in a cold start (I usually do until I see the thermometer moves slightly above 50 celcius and b) always check the oil level and use a good oil when you change it. I may come back in another 10 years for more insights :)

12 χρόνια έκλεισα σήμερα, την πήρα καινούρια τον Νοέμβρη του 2008,(την exclusive)ημουν 25 χρονων,από τον φόβο που έδιναν όλοι,να μην το αγοράσω λόγω προβλημάτων..τελικά την πήρα.. κάθε χρόνο άλλαζα λάδια.. έκανα έλεγχο.. στο συνεργείο γελούσαν.. τι ήρθες πάλι?έλεγαν.. το αποτέλεσμα είναι.. 12 χρονια..δεν κάηκε ούτε λαμπάκι..μόνο του πορτ μπαγκάζ..νόμιζα ότι είχε καει..απλά είχα κλειστό τον διακόπτη..εξαιρετικό αυτοκίνητο..και δεν έφυγε ούτε το χρώμα,ούτε ξεθωριασε το σήμα.. με προσοχή και όλα τα σέρβις πριν την ώρα τους..το αμάξι κάθεται στην πυλωτή, λες και βγήκε χθες από την βιτρίνα..🙂

Ik heb een alfa 147 facelift 2.0 met bijna 270000 km op de teller, wat een fijne auto om in te rijden! Natuurlijk moet je rekening houden met onkosten, mijn aircopomp was kapot en dan kun je dus niet meer verder rijden en dat waren hoge kosten.

🔥Die bougies zijn niet echt duur als je bedenkt dat die maar om de 100k km vervangen moeten worden. Distributieriem om de 30k km. Bij pittig rijden. Dit kost €450. Wat ik relatief nog best veel vind. Wat echt is anno 2024+ is de benzine. Vooral als je even los wil gaan

This is the ultimate alfa 147 video from a dutch man that destroys the myth about this car. Being a highly tuned twin spark Italian car it cannot be treated like a ford or honda where service to service with no mantainance is the norm . This car needs weekly oil water tyre pressure wash polish and real time customer input. If you do this you are rewarded with a car that is fast exciting rewarding and is real Italian class ,its a junior FERRARI take it from me. the styling cues are in many seat leons renault meganes ford VW and BMW resisted physical cues but they tried to capture the ethos quality leathers beautiful lines snarling engines and handing so good that they copied it and called it the MIto. Red Blue or black are the colours and 17" alloys elevate it to eye catching. No one had one when i bought my selespeed semi auto box in red yunno if you treat it with respect it returns the favour. Entry level is 800 euros for a 80k 1500 euros gets you leather with history and a fsh 2000 euro gets you high mileage later model or excellent early model . buy with a full service stamp good tyres and a cared look and you wont go too far wrong . Carpe Diem .

Weekly oil changes? What the hell haha. I like how you’re pedantic, but that it not required. I had a old turbo car that was super heavy to maintain and even with that I only changed the oil and water once a month. If you stick to once a month, it’ll still be fine.

+Saric Milan I drove one today and man i missed it 10 min after getting out of it. is it an UNBELIEVABLY good car. I was getting a GTI when i was suggested a 147... Its an easy decision... Alfa all the way. the noise it makes stock is also amazing. the around the 07+ facelift models are not as unreliable as older ones too.

+Saric Milan i bought a 147 1.9 JTD 150 hp recently, diesel, 6 speed gearbox, and i am in love with it! it accelerates like crazy, looks great, and i have no problems for now. It uses to little gasoline, 4.5 l/100km at 120 km/h, 6 at 130 km/h, 6.5 at 140 km/h - beautiful fuel consumption! and i can do 0 - 100 in 7 seconds... ;)

I had alfas 145 boxer 1.3 , 156 1,6TS and 166 2.5 V6 great cars especially 156 1.6 TS. I recommend.

My son has an 01 manual 147 2.0 and although it has high mileage its a nice little car and if looked after by a mechanic who knows them well (thats very important) they are great. Yes the airbag light is on now after moving the drivers seat. Just needs a reset. I personally prefer the early series cars frontal treatment but that is just personal preference.

People fail to maintain these cars properly, then the cars get the blame. ( it's not cheap, but not mega expensive either.)

Very good vid! Tons of good info! It goes to the facts .....I really want to buy ine of those 147 but complains of owners made me think twice but I know why now!! nothing but average maintenance in certain points

I bought a 2008 JD new. Very reliable. Great mileage! My only complaint is the drivers windshield shade. Three broke within the first three years. Now have velcro strap. New ones aren't available and they were 125 Euro! 10Euro per month for windshield shades?

Ik rijdt nu een Astra h station met een 1.4. Goede auto maar ze mist toch wat leven en passie. De auto na de face lift lijkt mij wel wat. Misschien dat ik er wel eentje haal

I don't even drive yet, but I really want to get one of these at some point. Again like others have said, I've heard from most people I've talked to that Alfa's are unreliable... Won't be getting one for my first car anyway, somewhere down the line.

The diesel engine Is very reliable. I am italiano and i have One. My 147 Is gasoline/lpg and has so far 225.000 kms!! I ve seen diesel ones with 700.000 kms.. So now i ask you.. Is it reliable?

Wat is er nou zo bijzonder aan een onbetrouwbaar zogenaamd sportief hok. Ik blijf liever in mijn BMW zitten dan dat ik perse een Alfa MOET hebben gereden nee dankje.

A320Pilots ze vragen je om zorgzaamheid en aandacht, dat moet je opbrengen. Voor de betaalbare klasses zijn dit auto's met veel meer gevoel, wat autorijden geweldig maakt.

Alfa's zijn voor mensen die houden van Italiaanse auto's maar geen Ferrari of Maserati kunnen betalen. Los van betrouwbaarheid, als je niet snapt wat er zo mooi is aan Italiaanse auto's, dan kan je inderdaad beter in Duitse auto's blijven rijden.

JTD 115hp is the best engine you emagine i drive the 147 for three years now and i bought it with 350.000km when it was 11 years old. The car has now 493.000km and still going strong. Alfa Romeo 147 2003 model. The best car i ever had topspeed 210km/h driven by me. Acceleration 9.6sec to 100km/h driven by me

Noproblem pokochasz, Look at my profile if you want to know how fast it is, i have upload 4 videos from 400.000km till 493.000km with a acceleration test. If you buy the diesel choose only the 1.9 8v engine, 115hp or 120hp. The 16v is not good, some little problems with the engine and it cost a lot of money. If you buy the t-spark buy then the 120hp, it's reliabler then the 105hp.

+Hellracer, Question, (I'm dutch too but I'll ask in English): What kind of problems do the 16v diesel version have? You're talking about the 140/150 hp right? I'm considering buying an Alfa as my first car. I want it to be diesel, because diesel is more reliable and u can buy cars with higher milage that don't cost allot but can still drive allot of miles. I'm also considering a Peugeot 206 or 207, and maybe a Fiat Stilo.

Wat een bullshit weer over roesten en onbetrouwbaar. Het ligt volledig aan jezelf hoe je ermee om ga en wat je te besteden heb voor onderhoud. Elke auto kan en gaat uiteindelijk kapot en moet gerepareerd worden of erger nog vervangen worden. Dus kappen met dat gelul over Alfa Romeo en ga eens nadenken en in deze tijd kijken ipv het verleden naar boven halen. En gelijk antwoord op de vraag of ik toevallig Alfa rij.....Het antwoord daarop is volmondig JA. Jaren lang rij plezier van gehad en nog steeds in mijn huidige Alfa Romeo 156 GTA.

***** Ach sommige dingen zijn typische alfa kwaaltjes (elektra etc.) maar al die lelijke oude golfjes en A3'tjes hebben ook gezeik met roest en onderstel, autorijden is altijd een prijzige hobby, dan geef ik dat geld toch liever uit aan een mooie Italiaanse ;)

@@mint-98 heb je een alfa gehad? dan zou je het snappen😂 heb zelf rijles gehad in een Mercedes C klasse, en gelijk erna de alfa MiTo van m'n broer gereden en ookal is het een stuk goedkopere auto en ouder. hij rijdt beter, VEEL beter. optrekken gaat soepeler en sneller naar bestuurders idee, het schakelen gaat soepeler en de schakelbak schakelt ook een stuk fijner. ik heb nog niet veel ervaring met merken, maar tussen Mercedes en Alfa zou ik de keuze wel weten te maken.
