Only thing I would like to add to simplify the process a little is, remove the gear shift gaiter first as this will allow easy access to the DNA unit from below. Simply push up from below, no need to pry using tools. Hope this helps. Special thanks to the uploader it my life soo much easier. The purpose I had to remove the central console was get ease of access to the handbrake cable to replace it. Thanks again.
Hi dude, I have a problem with heating the space around gearbox and DNA, this area (plastic) gets hot. This happens when I direct the heating to my feet. Do you know maybe why? Everything else works normally.
Just done mine. Turned out the fan was stuck somehow, I removed the heater resistor and poked it free with a screwdriver and spreyed it with some lubricant. Working perfectly now. Just a pity I spent hours removing half the dash when I didn't need to. Hope this helps anyone looking for answers.
You're speaking of several defects/issues with the Giulietta, can you name them and was there ever a fix from Alfa? I'm looking to buy a 2014 2.0 JTDm to replace my 156 1.9 JTD after 10 years of ownership.
Hi, I'm planning to run a MicroUSB cable from the 12V port at the central console to the top storage box. Do you have any advise on how can this be done without drilling or making any damage? The idea is to charge my phone. Sadly. the USB port in the glovebox only has 0.5A.
