Awesome 👍🏻 Recently bought a Brera next to my gt but it has the standard audio with radionav screen. The sound quality is honestly awful so I will be upgrading them soon (after I swap the head unit). Do you think it would be okay to just upgrade the front speakers on the Brera? The rears look like a pain to replace...
Hi, just wondering if you can help with the location of amplifier in Alfa Romeo Giulietta JDTM 2.0 Business Edition? I'm having a problem with a Chinese Android head unit where I'm getting no sound. I've tried connecting the red wire (gets 12v when key is turned) to the blue AMP_CONT wire but no joy. I'm thinking I could just run the 12v wire to the amplifier directly so that it's powered when the key is turned and I get sound but I don't know where it is or how to get to it. Do you have any videos which include amplifier work in the Giulietta? Watched a lot of your Alfa stuff already; great stuff! Thanks
Hi, find a diagram somewhere, check out which wire is power on wire for amp, hook that wire to 12v ignition wire or to amp wire on head unit. Do not hook it up directly without using the fuse
Nice Job just like always. Have you ever thought about making adapters for new speakers using 3D printing? Then you wouldn't have to make new holes in the door.
As someone who is into 3D Printing, it'd take too much time to design and print an adapter. Although it would be cleaner. This method is simple and can get done much quicker.
@@Moby41 i'm into 3D printing too, it's to be done in one or two days, but I think it would have to be printed in ABS due to the high temperature in the car when it is in the sun. True, it's still mutch longer than few hours.
@@Moby41 I once printed a phone holder in place of a cup in PLA and it didn't work at all (its shape changed), various other things made of ABS were no problem. I live in poland.
Nice job. I never seen installing a bigger speaker without adapter rings. One question: Do you think the door strap can be changed through the hole of the speaker? I ddin't find a way how to do that and i think it would be a way to access pull out and push in a new one
2:38 can i reach the door hinge/ holder from the speaker hole? I need to replace it bwcause it makes an annoying clicking noise when opening and closing the door.
