That's because the video is 5 years old, recycled from his main channel - it's from his first workshop. That's not cool.

@@jrand2631 I do not care. I'm entitled to my opinion. It's just an opinion. Relax.

@@jrand2631 What would you know about cool? The finish is poor he didn't read the paint instructions and he made it hard for himself trying to mask the lettering. If he's going to put out old repeat videos then people are bound to notice the difference and comment, you don't get to decide what people say.

There is an easier method instead of masking. I've always painted the whole cover, then block sand the letters and ribs. You get a clean paint line, and sand a grain direction into the lettering that looks great. You can then clear over it all to protect the look.

Did the exact project 20 years ago on my Alfasud engine covers, which are the same as the Sprint those years. Still keep them on the wall years after taking the engine out.

@54mgtf22 I thought this channel was to be more extended version of the rebuild and behind the scenes...but it appears this video for example is a "shorter" version of the original 10+minute video...some less information of the same rehashed content. I would be fine with using the same project if it indeed actually had more content...but alas that's not the case. I'm providing feedback for the creator...I will linger for awhile longer to see if the content improves...if not..I'll leave
