So looking forward to watching this. Alfred Burke was a brilliant actor, both understated and underrated. As to the comparison between the physical appearances of Alfred Burke, Patrick McGoohan and Roger Moore, well, there is no competition! Perhaps he's missing the 'dark' of the classic tall/dark/handsome, but there's only one face among those 3 that I would want to kiss.
If they were to do a remake of Public Eye, who would play Frank Marker?, and would it contain a lot of violence with guns, and would Marker still wear that tatty raincoat?.
I think Martin Clunes would make a good Frank - wearing a plain M&S waterproof mac , no violence just the threat of it and armed with (at the most) pepper spray - no smart phone, more likely an old Nokia or something similar !
