My Algoforce E1500 just arrived, I quickly tried it out on a few tiny gold nuggets, so far very impressed, super stable and it appears to be more sensitive than the GPX 5000 on small gold. Lots to learn yet with it, the Target ID is impressive. Sorry about the wind!

Head to head against the 6000 on different targets at different depths would be very interesting.

It's much better than I expected, this things going to be a hit, so cheap for it's performance level and build quality is great, so feather light too.

I'm off to the beach in a couple of days, you'll be surprised how accurate it's target ID is.

What about on big targets? how does it compare to gpx5000

I haven't checked, although it's geared towards smaller gold so I would guess a 5000 with a big coil is going to beat it
