What did you store your food in overnight? Great video

Thanks for watching! We just use a waterproof dry bag and hang it from a tall tree. It’s easier and lighter than a food barrel.

Hey QQ , when u camp at 2 spots , do u book both spots or u just reserve one for the number days and move around ?
@robandmirjana
@robandmirjana Год назад
Hey, it depends on the place. At some parks like Algonquian & Killarney, you book a “lake” and find a random spot (first come, first serve). At other parks like Kawartha and Massasauga, you reserve a specific site #. You can select as many nights as you want at either place!

@@robandmirjana thank you , I’m booking a lake but I’m booking location so I just put in any location? Or

I’m not sure what you mean. Can you explain? The booking website will show if you can book a specific sites or it has to be a lake. Also make sure you select the correct access point

Nothing when we go backcountry camping (it'll be too heavy to portage). We scavenge for dead trees/ branches and burn them.

Where did you rented the Canoe from?

We rented these from the Portage Store at Canoe Lake access point

@@robandmirjana Thanks for sharing. Seems like they no more operate at that location. Watching your video made us to book same camping sites🤟. Should we reserve the canoe before or can we get it on the day of camping from stores near by.

I think it was all on the GoPro Hero 9!

@robandmirjana damn bro, it's looking crisp..you gotta tell me what settings you used if you remember.

Haha I think 4K 60fps. Sometimes I use 5k but don’t notice that much of a different afterwards, plus it slows down the computer when editing. The GoPro is amazing in high light situations, but terrible in low light/nighttime filming.

A little tip for the lettuce. Use leaf lettuce or Romain. Pack it between some lightly dampened paper towels in zip lock and it will last a little longer.
