I agree. Personally I found the tempo a little hectic, but it's very convincing music-making.

I really digged the tempo of the B section!! Some people sauce the opening of it so much that it starts to feel like molasses, but I gotta say this is now my new fav (just passing that one dude that low key sorta looks like Juilliard Dave Navarro)

Like the Julian Bream performance of this piece, Ali knows when to lay back and push forward to really interpret this piece. Most performers just push ahead and hurry.
