Tested it years ago. Compared to RBC it lost 7hp on stock motor and 12 on a tuned full bolt on one. On a boosted Z3 it made less than 2hp less. After PROPER porting it’s 99% the same. 4000 N$ is expensive since I get them from US$45 depending on qty.
I did port n polish mine, I think due to our dumbass country our prices where bit higher with import, customs and porting. Nevertheless, so far it been running great, waayyy better then stock. Unfortunately not gonna tune cause my tuner has too many issues. My AFR has still been running on point as per map so I'm still happy on that. I will check any power difference on the dyno. Hoping for 270hp from my last 250. Either I'll still be happy. PS. The DTE pedalbox did quite really help increase TB response, so hoping for possible better torque too.
@@johnwolf1146 Gotcha. Get some 3 love vtec cams from a K20/24 head and an extra set of exhaust rockers so you can do a vtec killer like setup and get an easy 40-70whp.
@hondatrix I was thinking of that exactly over the weekend when I did a service, the z2 cam lobes are quite small when i checked. Problem is just to find the rockers and cams. Besides that, my tuner is a pain in my ass, it's difficult for me to get the car tuned, lack of skill n people round here I'd say.
Where are you guys from? Those prices doesn’t sound like US prices also I bought a manifold from Facebook marketplace and looks like the AliExpress one. I don’t know if I got scammed or not.
@tallisrameka4876 my kit is from rev9power, but if log isn't for you due to compact engine space, side winder manifold can work too. Ebay might have both, or check humble performance or Aliexpress
