If you like Ali G then you NEED to check this out! amzn.to/2fLyruy Ali G talks to some geezers about science, and techmology If you like Ali G then you NEED to check this out! amzn.to/2fLyruy
The speed at which Sacha’s brain works comedically is incredible. To have that genuine “wow… I’m not” when he hears the word HOMO sapien off the cuff is hilarious
@@taotoo2yeah he definitely has a script prepared to lead into these jokes, it’s still brilliant though, like with the euthanasia bit, he goes on to describe euthanasia, clearly not knowing the word, so he set them up to say it so then he could continue the joke of being confused by what the youth in Asia have to do with it. I was expecting him to say that the greeks are killing old ladies when the man said the word is originated from the Greek word for death.
At the risk of appearing to diminish his abilities, I’ll pose the idea that once you’re deep in Ali G’s character, that particular example would sort of jump off the page at you.
The funniest shit was the guy with the glasses who just has this look on his face like he couldn't believe what was going on before him. He was just bewildered and surprised these guys were even taking it to Ali's level. The best I've seen.
Bill Gates Jr there has the best reactions. He looked literally mind blown. Only thing he got to say is that he uses the toilet. Wonder why they called him over
I believe what happened was that he would accompany an older, distinguished looking man dressed in suit and tie. The interview subjects would then make conversation with this man, obviously thinking that he was the interviewer. Ali G would be messing with the equipment, so they’d just assume he was part of the crew. Then as soon as they started rolling, Ali G and the guy in the suit would switch places. That way the subjects were too caught off-guard and surprised and ended up continuing the interview with Ali G. 😆
Check out the melodysheep youtube channel where they make a song out of him say 'Techmology' ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ws6HPTom2AY.html
I own the series on DVD, and yet still find myself watching on here too.. and I'm still laughing until I cry. He is the BEST EVER... in my opinion, anyway.
I'm curious how these experts felt after they found out this was just a joke, whether they had a sense of humor about it or just felt embarrassed and duped.
@@Virus_io. Na the guy's completely nuts - and he's very serious and defensive about his beliefs, and probably felt smug afterward. He got arrested for tax fraud (and had to pay 3 million in restitution), while in jail, he tried to sue the rationalwiki for almost 3 million dollars with obviously bogus diffamation claim (simply stating objective facts such as "Hovind is a young Earth creationist and convicted tax fraudster" apparently are diffamation) that wouldn't, and didn't get to court, he beat his wife, he tried to suck up to Donald Trump to get a pardon, and he's got some batshit crazy conspiracy theories. For example, he managed to make a connection between communism and evolution in one text, somehow, and he follows the ridiculous strawman theory (look it up). And all of this is just the tip of the crazy iceberg. His name is Kent Hovind btw. "If evolution is true, you could not know that it’s true because your brain is nothing but chemicals. Think about that." (Actual Kent Hovind quote)
When he does the 999999…. montage, two things come to mind 1) How does he keep a straight face when he does this? 2) He actually made sense when he said ‘without blowing up’ in the end even though he was trying very hard to be stupid.
I don't know how many times I've seen this (it probably has been nearly a year since my last viewing) and I'm still laughing louder and more heartily than at almost any other time in my life - this guy is an international treasure!
The creationist just seemed too suspicious, when the flushing subject was adressed. He wanted to go on too fast without even clearing the subject, although it was so clear that he was the culprit!!! First acting like he did not understand and then denying it. Shame on him!!
@@MakiVerem12345 Scientific Evidence: simulation theory (likely the best theistic argument but hardly ever presented that way), the predisposition of humans to find god/afterlife (seen in countless ancient and contemporary societies), the 12 dimensions proven by a myriad of theoretical physicists being manifested in means apparently accessible by humans (psychedelics, REM sleep, lack of oxygen, etc) showing entities described by religion, the ubiquity of highly serendipitous natural occurrences on earth, the first law of thermodynamics which states that energy can neither be created or destroyed (the brain uses about 20 watts of energy to exist actively meaning that when you die it is unfeasible for that energy to dissipate, and it can exist outside of a husk or body [why radiation can exist haphazardly in the air]), near death experiences, etc.
I like that the old guys are so chill, instantly adjustable to go with the flow. Probably had a lot of students and kids experience. While the young one is obviously questioning humanity.
When criticized for it, he quickly and successfully justified talking about “the floater back stage” on a live TV program by saying it was about respect, and then fist pumped all of them at the end while saying the word respect to each of them. He completely outsmarted 4 incredibly intelligent experts all while improvising through character. What an absolute master mind.
@@khalilsabbagh1179 By seamlessly and effortlessly getting them to agree with him about the idea of respect which was the very element he used to convince them that he was in the right to be talking about the very thing that they just criticized him for discussing.
I can't say it's my favourite moment because there's too many moments that are just hilarious.. but I swear that last part when ali g talks about who didn't flush the toilet haha he puts the blame on that guy so convincingly as if it was a fact that he didn't flush.. proceeds to say shame on you.. and then ends the show on that being the last note hahahahaha.. it gets me every time.
just like all of you I am on a youtube Ali G rabbithole, rewatching all these interviews. Yet I still completely lost it when he said "there is evidence backstage to the contrary"
I just love the way he starts, "Yo science what is it all about, techmology what is dat all about. Is it good or is it wack." All the geezers are looking at him and thinking WTF.
"i don't wanna point fingers but whoever it was shame on you!" "keep it real guys, respect, respect, respect." in front of an intellectuals for christ sake
I just saw Borat 2 and im always amazed how he is the greatest actor ever. He stay in character in the most bizarre situations, those sentences are the most idiotic thing ever and he still keep it up in a perfect way. He is amazing at his craft
As talented as Cohen is at playing characters who are not quite the sharpest tool in the garden shed, he could never hope to rival what comes naturally to Kent Hovind, a man whom even other creationists are a bit embarrassed to be associated with.
"why u would talk about that on a tv program blows my mind". hahahahahhahahaha. hands down my favorite, most unexpected, and most remembered ali g moment.
