He’s British my friends 😂 but he has 4-5 characters from different countries that all fool people. This is just his wannabe G type character.. hilarious reaction as always.
Man, you guys have opened a GREAT can of worms with the Ali G show. I could never understand how he kept a straight face and stayed in character while he was shooting these. It was so uncomfortable to watch but funny as hell!
Sacha Baron Cohen is the actors name who plays Ali G . He's hilarious . He's actually a well spoken white British Middle class comedy actor. He's class
Exactly the right person to interview this is the whole point because he’s not really serious and she thinks he is,it’s called comedy but I guess not everyone gets it.
@@chrisphillips2254his one with the NBA players is the only one to my knowledge where the players are in fact in on it. You can tell because he does the intro “I’m here with X” multiple times with the same players and asks different questions after.
When this show first stated, a lot of people didn't realise Sacha Baron Cohen was an actor playing a role - because there are a lot of people who look and sound like this in London. So he got away with annoying and frustrating a lot of celebrities and politicians who agreed to be interviewed because they wanted to appear trendy and down with the youth 😂🇬🇧
Sacha Baron Cohen, the actor and creator of Ali G and many others is a Cambridge educated (equivalent to Harvard) British bloke who is a wizard when it comes to black comedy mocumentary style filming… a true great
Any clips with Sacha’s characters like Ali G, Borat, or Bruno are gold. It’s a big rabbit hole that gets better and better the more accustomed to his comedy 😂. You’ll have content for days
She handled the interview well. She was misled to think he was a young, foreign, urban journalist and she made cultural adjustments to what behaviors she would normally accept from an interviewer. She cut him some slack and rolled with it like a champ.
You two just stumbled upon some of the greatest comedy ever made in my opinion. Da Ali G show is easily in the top 2 or 3 funniest TV shows of all time.
Dont miss his episode where he interviews a panel of scientists with no sense of humor. Its so good another channel named symphony of science made a song based on it lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ws6HPTom2AY.html
You could react to all of Sacha Baron Cohen's (the actor playing Ali G in this reaction) most popular characters one after the other a recommendation for each character: "When Ali G met the Beckhams | Comic Relief" "Brüno (2009) - Talk Show Scene - 'Today with Richard Bey' [HD]" "Borat - S01E02 - US Etiquette"
Sacha...was great in Sweeny Todd and the Trial of the Chicago 7 too. Married a girl from my school in the UK as it happens too. They are both highly intelligent and forged amazing careers. Other episodes includes Martin Freeman also.
He’s a comic Genius and is known to push offensive content to the max. Got to watch all his characters cause he embarrassed a senator one time. Dude is nuts but hilarious. He exposes people for what they are.
You need to do two of his skites “drugs” and “dangerous drugs”. There’s other good ones like religion. You also need to do his borat skits from the Ali g show. Hilarious.
The interview with David & Victoria Beckham is a MUST!! It was for the British Red Nose Appeal. Also the drug interview. There are many classics. Sacha Baron Cohen is the actor 👍
His main characters are Ali and Borat, Bruno after that and I think he might have done others that didn't catch on. He started in the late '90s and went massive, there's even movies. Ali G in d house is his best movie in my opinion, went to see that when it came out. I think I've got the VHS of it. All of his characters are mainly trying to make the others he is around feeling atleast abit uncomfortable. Keep going down the rabbit hole of Sacha Baron Cohen, he'll make you laugh and say WTF while laughing.
Norman Gunston, brought to life by Australian Garry McDonald in the early '70s, was trolling in interviews a full quarter-century before Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G even hit the scene. See his interview with Sally Struthers, for example. And Gunston wasn't even the first to master this art.
Yooooooooooo. Ya'll aren't even ready for this guy. That was a G rated kindergarten segment..... I'm here for it. Just...understand he's gonna go there. Every time. No fucks given, ever.
This character, Ali G, and his show came out before Borat so Sasha Cohen wasn’t well known at all. This was a put-on and a giant practical joke. Most people, especially his guests, did not realize that. The way they fooled the guests into an interview was a they never saw him until the interview would start. He’d come in carrying video and audio equipment like he was part of the crew. There would be a man in a suit who gave the impression he was the interviewer. Then at the last minute, Ali G, would take the seat and start asking stupid, inane, and offensive questions. The first time I saw him, I bought it. “Who is this moron? Where did they find him? Why is he on TV?” I didn’t get it. It’s only when i realized it’s a put-on that it gets funny. And he interviewed many famous people. Their reactions are a huge part of the comedy because they were blindsided.
Ali G, Borat, and Bruno are all characters of Sacha Baron Cohen. He’s hilarious. He would get real politicians and celebrities to say the most ridiculous shit. He’s a big movie star now, so he can’t get away with it so easily.
Sacha Baron Cohen is great at making things incredibly awkward. He never breaks character, ever. He’s Ali G, Borat, Bruno, and if you’ve ever seen Talladega Nights , he plays Ricky Bobby’s nemesis Jean Girard.
It's "Satire Comedy" and your comment about Jamaican slang is actually accurate, because this is about 25 years old. There's even a film called "Ali G In Da House" and he did a song from it with, the living legend that is, Shaggy called " Me Julie".
Please react to "Ali-G Interviews Posh Spice and David Beckham" - it runs 10 minutes 37 seconds - and David Beckham and Posh Spice don't know in advance what he will say.
