Imo it's actually kind of sad because there are adults out there who kinda talk like that, and are not mentally deficient in any form. But yo like who cares whateva mad respek for the general for keepin it wicked keepin it cool with ma main mans ali tha g.
You heard the crazy stuff the general said, right? He does not regret Vietnam and would not change sides, he thinks when should a country nuke another country is an excellent question...he has little empathy and is a dangerous thinking man. Sacha exposed him for that. That is the point, and you missed it.
Yeah, like Daniel says, it'd be much better for a man in charge of a great portion of a country's military to not know how to deal with nuclear warfare or know to be open about such broad policies.

What a nice man General Stowcraft is. He actually answers the questions and maybe he sees the humor in it. Unlike some of his American contemporaries. Nice guy!

Soldiers are impossible to hate. We don't put on airs and we don't bullshit. Sacha realised because he wasn't getting any ego, stupidity or bs off the guy, that he wasn't gonna get anywhere, so he just tried to make his own lines funny and respected the guy. Normally he finds a severe character flaw and plays into it... It was probably refreshing to just have someone be nice but also not an idiot. ......he still tried to 'suprise' him at the end again though 😆 probably because he realised the interview was kind of a dud
I love Ali G. Sacha's best character IMO. Sacha's just a big child having such a great time in these interviews. I could see him waiting to do the surprise thing again and again- so funny.
"And doze cow fings wif da hornz". Man, it would have been awesome if Sacha Baron Cohen came up here to Canada in full Ali G form for one episode of the show. 10 years too late oh well.
He has done so perfect role of Ali G, he could have said yes to exaggerate the whole situation, but he knows how to make convo funny as well as relevent
