His comment about being a non violent offender but being turned into a violent one because of the way he was mistreated...It’s heartbreaking. Happy the dude served, got out and is now doin his thing.
just the toilet way that us prisons are set up, forces prisoners into gangs to survive and stay from getting attacked. Sadly no one is changing prisons to work better they just don't care at all about what is happening.
My brother worked at a prison here in Indiana for a while. Said he never understood the a**hole guards at all. Why make a miserable situation worse for guys, especially when you're smart enough to realize you're outnumbered? 7 years and ZERO physical alterations.
Fire and Safety Clerk is like a fire marshall. When the alarm goes off he makes sure people get out ok. Checks fire extinguishers, fire escape doors, escape routes etc. Generally will have good knowledge of the entire building layout and health and safety procedures.
Bruh “the system is like judicial slavery and I’m Nat Turner” holy shit that is a profound way to describe his transition into radicalism! Dude is a genuine genius and I feel like half the truly potent shit he says gets missed because he saying in such a throw away fashion! Poetic
If nobody has told you yet, He ended up doing 6 years out of the 15 he was sentenced. And 20 years after he got out of prison he started getting back into comedy and he started by going to prisons and giving shows to inmates and telling them his story, (He got arrested for half a blunt while he was on his way to take his son to school.) Those videos are really good. I’ve watched like every single video of him I could find, I’m obsessed lol. His story telling ability is amazing. Like he makes you feel like you were actually there with him. You should really react to more of his videos, I haven’t heard a single one that I didn’t like.
I discovered Ali Saddiq 4 years ago, he is a wonderful storyteller. He is some ca^ptivating in his narrations, you come in for laughs and stay because you are so enthralled with his stories.
As a former C.O. Stories like his is why I quit. Being one of 3 black C.O. it was difficult enough. But then trying to stop unnecessary harassment just caused problems for me. Institutionalized racism is real. And they don't take kindly to being told that they're breaking their own rules. Still that shit was funny.
I believe in treating people with dignity but let's not forget, people go to prison for punishment. I think arresting people for drugs is ridiculous, but I think if you're a thief or violent criminal, you deserve the punishment you get because everyone knows what goes on in prisons, so you wanna break the laws to send you there then you're rolling the dice, racism isn't forcing anyone to break the law.
This is what the criminal "justice" system in America does. Turns small time offenders into real criminals! Ali Siddiq is one of the funniest right now (my opinion) so if he blows up, I'd be more than happy!
@@DontTrustOurOpinion not sure about a podcast, but here's one of his bits about getting arrested. It's from the set he recorded in an actual prison >> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5IGfb_oWC8A.html
Ironically, I've been to prison and also I was bullied. But not related at all. I just chose the wrong friends and made dumbass kid decisions (haven't been back and this was in the late 90s lol. learned my dumbass lesson, just took once). But yes, it shouldn't matter whether your not in prison, or in prison. Treat people with respect. It's not a hard concept.
Nonviolent time is generally around 1/4 or 1/3 of the time they give you. As long as you don’t get into trouble, that’s pretty much how it goes. If you get sentenced to 10 years, you’re likely only going to serve around 3 years. Did some research, saw that he did 6 years of that 15.
If you're sentenced to 10 years, you'll spend 8 months for every year, so 80 months, which is about 6 years, 8 months!! But if you're sentenced to 10 years and a day, you'll spend 10 years and 1 day in prison!!! Check out Chris Distefano's 9/11 story.

Here's a couple more of Ali's stand up clips. White Neighbors keep falling off their roofs: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UY5oBh6k-lU.html Getting dragged out of a Courtroom: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mat7sUW0Q3A.html
Ya playing playing 😂😂😂I know y’all getting blown up for that Agust D-Daechwita Reaction...y’all should do it...but I’mma be a humble queen and watch what I can get atm because I support y’all..the stand up reactions are cool too
Not sure if you know this, but none of the this i not happening is comedy. They are all stories told by comedians, but not comedy sets or comedy in itself.
911 This is different, but give "Total Eclipse of the Heart: Literal Version" a shot. The words are changed to fit the video. I've probably watched it 50 times over the years. SO FUNNY. Theres other literal version videos if you like it.
This story definitely isn’t funny. Anyone who works inside knows that idiots like Mitchell get a lot of people hurt. I guarantee nobody ever wants to work with him. Ali is a master at telling this story.
Honestly it's messed up on both ends. It's not like law abiding citizens are overflowing there. I think majority make it work and there are a few asshole POS on both sides that just have to make it difficult. At the end of the day prisoners should follow the rules and realize they got themselves there and officers should enforce said rules and not any personal agendas.
Funny how nobody knows any of these people in real life, and yet lot of people hearing this story are wishing this "Mitchell dude" get something bad happen to em.
Yo, this was a cool reaction. I f wit y'all channel. It's cool. I know everybody into Ali Siddiq bout to ask Y all to do the mushroom story next. And it's got a animated version. That is just as good, if not better than the stand up version. But hey If you want to get that back story you mentioned here about how he started doing stand up PLUS his stand up, you gotta check out this video called Ali Siddiq Ladies Night Out Part 1 l LOLflix. Here's a link to that one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J1xE2cmh4rA.html
Some of “Us” know who Nat is as well as Adam Clayton. Got to know all history not cherry pick. Only way to move forward in this world is to learn from our past
damn he went to prison for selling drugs? idk what he was selling but when i was arrested with 110grams weed (just under 4 ounces) and about 15000NOK (1500usd) they dragged me into the police station for a few hours because they had to interview me and all that for the paperwork. they let me out early because i had this doctors appointment, but i was still 30 min late for that so i explained the situation to the ladie at the front desk and she was like ok, not much u can do about that and sorted me out. I do my appointment with the doctor, i leave and i think like 6 months later i received the letter from politiet as we can call them in Norway. It says im charged with doing 45days in prison and im thinking to myself, this isnt gonna be that. I appear in court maybe 3-4 months later to receive my final sentencing and the court ladies interview me for a bit, confirm some info from the police and ask me about my life. I end up with 45hours of community service cutting grass at this local soccer club, like the field and around the area. Prison system in the great US of A is fucked up.
