A stand-up comedian, a screenwriter and an actress Ali Wong was born in 1982. She found out about her passion to performances while studying at the University and so decided to try her skills in a stand-up genre in 2005, at the age of 23. She loved it so much that very quickly moved to New York to pursue a career as a comedian. Ali soon became so popular that she could perform up to nine times per night. In 2011 she was named one of 10 Comics to Watch according to a Variety magazine.
She can also boast of very successful roles in such movies as Always Be My Maybe, Savages and many others.
Currently, the celebrity lives in Los Angeles and is dealing with acting, selling various baby materials, stand-ups as well as being a wife and a mother.
Ali’s mom Tam is originally from Vietnam. She moved to America, where she met Adolphus and within just a month of dating married him. Together they produced 3 kids.
The father Adolphus was born in the US but had Chinese roots and that’s why made sure all children follow Chinese culture. He passed away in 2011, at the age of 74 from cancer.
Ali has an older brother Andrew but unfortunately, there is no available information about his occupation or personal life.
Mimi is an older sister, who was welcomed in 1972. Even though sisters have 10 years age gap they still share a very tight bond.
In 2014 Wong walked down the aisle with a Vice President of a giant tech company GoodRx, Justin Hakuta. The two love birds got acquainted in 2010 at a wedding of a mutual friend and soon the chemistry started building between the two. The couple raises two kids.
Their firstborn is a daughter Mari who was delivered in 2015. She was named after Marie Kondo, who is a Japanese essayist.
The second daughter whose name is disclosed became a wonderful addition in 2017.
