Great video. I'm coming down this week for a month. Will see if the bus from ALC has the tarjeta azul if not, I'll just purchase it from Torrevieja bus station.
Now trains is something else... there are various offers throughout the year. Previously there was only RENFE but now that there are more options you can shop around and look for cheaper routes between some cities... Thanks for watching 👍
Just a wee add on to the airport bus. We went to purchase tickets today for transfer from Torrevieja - Alicante Airport with our bus pass. The lady didnt take payment, but instead gave us a reservation ticket to use as a guarantee for our seats on the bus. She informed us that you just tap the machine on the bus to purchase the tickets.

We've heard that if you go to the bus station you can reserve your place (but not from the airport- the only way you can do that is if you book online in advance and can't use the card for that and get the discount) But. Didn't get it.... So, can I buy the card in the Alicante airport to go Torrevieja, if you said, that we can buy it only at bus stations. Is there a bus station in the airport?...
You can get them at either Alicante, Guardamar or Torrevieja bus stations. Some buses also have the cards "in stock"- although not sure about the airport bus at the airport if they will have the cards on them. (There is no bus station at the airport)- that's why I didn't specifically mention getting the card on the bus at the airport. Thanks for watching.
There's an avanza app, but doesn't work for all routes. Maybe called avanza go. Failing that, should be on their website- maybe Costa azul or azul cares or similar. Thanks for watching 👍

Can you give me some tips, how get to Alicante from Torrevieja on bus? I got avanza card, but when I entered to bus, driver told me that I need reservation. Queue to ticket office was huge, so I resigned. Only from main bus station I can get to Allicante? Do you known opening hours ticket office (main bus station)?

Well, I also love Spain and in couple of days I will go on another trip to Spain and of course, Alicante and Torrevieja, Do you know if for a non resident people (me and my wife), but living in European Union, may I buy this Tarjeta Bus and use it from Airport to Torrevieja (or viceversa), plus in Torrevieja? Hi! Thanks for watching 👍 they do not ask for ID when buying the card- anyone can purchase. You may not be able to buy on the bus at/ from the airport, but you can buy from most other buses/ alicante bus station/ guardamar bus station or torrevieja bus station. To use the pass on the bus to the airport, you first need to reserve spaces at the bus station, but pay for the rrip using the card when you get on the bus. Enjoy your trip! 👍
Thanks for watching. To our knowledge it covers all Avanza buses in Alicante province- the bus station should be able to confirm. We know Alvero (pretty boy) uses the same card- he lives in El Campello, which is north of Alicante. Worse case if you get no discount you use it as a payment method...

Normally you can't get the card from the bus at the airport. You can get on any other buses in the Alicante province or at the bus station. When you use the card, you get a receipt showing the fare paid and amount of credit left on the card. Thanks for watching 👍
