I love seeing Jerry mess up knowing how great he is . Makes him look human. Plus when he screws up and says “cock smoke, FUCK!!!” It cracked me up so that I went back and watched it a few more times.
Dave grohl bought the old neev console from sound city a world famous studio and built his own studio around that same console and records on old school 2 inch tape! its the same console they recorded nevermind on! the console was hand wired and cost 70k in the mid 70s! that's 350k in today's money! so wen sound city went out of biz Dave jumped at the chance to own possibly the worlds coolest most historic peace of rock and roll history in the universe! slayer recorded reign in blood at that studio fleetwood mac rick springfeild all the la metal bands in the 80s recorded on that console! and its still pumping out works of art such as Alice in chains black returns to blue!
I’m sorry but every album with layne on it is better than any album they did without layne . They still are great but Layne put them from great to GODS

can't say it was worth the wait because of Layne but was pleasantly surprised. Black gives way to blue is excellent because it has Elton John on the keys and I've been listening to him forever (thanks mom) and I like the whole damn album. It seems that they have grown with me as many bands have. Kudos Jerry!

As one of the worlds biggest AIC fans there will never be another AIC,STP,or Soundgarden wout their Legend frontmen the best of all fkn time I love Jerry Cantrell solo also tons not a fan of William Duval just my opinion he's not good live but I'm happy they're still making good music and we have all the greatest music ever made EVER to still enjoy RIP LAYNE, SCOTT & CHRIS never forgotten❤

I wish they made a video of Layne in the studio in the 90s. Sorry, but I do not like their songs without Layne. Alice in Chains is just not the same band without him.
The difference being that Kurt wrote all the Nirvana songs so replacing Kurt would be ridiculous. Jerry wrote all, if not, 99% of the Alice stuff, so it's just a different voice. Get over it.
