Yes, there were some videos like that, but they either did not include backing Staley's vocals, or contained extras like rhythm guitar. Here it's just all vocals Staley sang for "Would?"

NOTE:
At 1:36, Cantrell and Staley sing slightly different words: Cantrell on lead - "sole desertion", but Staley instead clearly sang "sole exertion", not "desertion". It's not audible in the studio mix, because Jerry Cantrell's voice is loud enough to bury that. Was it a Staley's mistake, alteration of the lyrics even when it was on recording, or a kind of improvisation that was considered to be good enough?
1:46 - again, Cantrell sings "Quite A notion", while Staley says "Quite FOR notion".
I have no right for vocal track or another Alice in Chains stuff, only publish that for purpose of showing people the talent of Layne Staley.

Wow finally someone posted the right version. The other versions often confuse Layne and Jerry's voice or omit someon's voice. I always loved Layne and Jerry's harmonies.

It's odd, as he's giving himself a harmony that's a fifth higher. Normally, Jerry hits the lower melody and Layne is a fifth higher, so I'm wondering if they tried it that way and just didn't like it. What I'm trying to say is that there's very few AIC songs where Layne sings both the Layne and Jerry parts, but this is one instance, and it worked beautifully.

@@RockandrollNegro I definitely felt like there was a harmony at the end but I had no idea it was a higher harmony. To my ear in the mix it sounded like it was a simple octave lower.
