*THANK YOU, RICKONAMI!!!!!* You heard my wish and made it come true after all! Oi, you guys at Probe / 21st Century Fox / Konami / Capcom / every other game producer out there: *AREN'T YOU PAYING ATTENTION, YET?*
Your work is so neat. You seem like a gamer who thought one day, hey, I am going to have fun with my old games in a way most people would never think of.
Nice. I'm currently working on a remake of this game (as a hobby) in Unity. Obviously I'm not the only one with a lot of love for this game =) And this title track is king. Both parts of it. ;-)
This was extremely well done. I only discovered this game recently and I absolutely love the music for the title screen and would love to hear a newer remastered version of it or maybe a good remix. The intro was amazing good quality and all round awesome!
You guys do a great job, I'm about to upload an alien 3 gameplay of genesis to my channel right now and I found this video of yours and I was fascinated, I just noticed a bug in the beginning audio and I was encouraged to retouch it a bit in my way, I hope you do not mind, I uploaded the edited video to my channel, I hope everything is correct.
Wow nice job! I didn't expected anything like that when I googled for Alien 3 Genesis Remake. Nice job bro. How cool would be to have a remake for the game ahn?
A little gift for you, by the way, comrade. Two URLs: 1. watch?v=zOPsaWGeTL0 2. watch?v=YOGxKCe80qo The first is the original music of Stage 5 of the game, while the second is a remixed take on the original music. The only fault I can find with the remix is that it feels somewhat different than the original, but it is a good take, nonetheless. Enjoy!
Now to discuss the video itself. It's been a long time since I last saw the movie, but that intro scene you put in was of the escape pod that broke off the Colonial Marine ship, "Sulaco," correct? Nice touch there, even though my memory's a bit hazy about that.
Thanks :) I used 3DSMAX and AFTER EFFECTS, and used real light in a smoke room ( my room filled with cigarette smoke) And a cut cardboard, to make the Light effects with the egg.
More importantly, the music to this game needs to be remixed more. There just aren't enough remixes of the soundtrack. Notably *NONE* for the main title, which saddens me a bit.
***** At least you tried, man. But really....there's a lot of unmixed video game music out on the Net. Some gems haven't been brought up to the surface yet.
***** It is tough figuring out the right approach to that scene, I'd guess. I looked up the original Genesis intro, for reference, and that provided no insight as to how the original (the movies') scene was done. But you also included the demos from the game itself, which was a nice touch there. Also, just as a little insight as to how the eggs were designed and animated in the movie "Alien: Resurrection", check out the link below, around the 07:30 mark. watch?v=fq0a2ed5JfQ I haven't seen that movie, mind you. ^_^;;; But man, just looking at those egg sacs creeps me out.
