Referrencing yourself as an "Alien" is perhaps a little unfair on your part given the contribution you've made to the country already. The locals have obviously taken you into their hearts and more importantly the affection and enthusiasm you've shown toward your new abode and the people's it represents magnifies your entitlement to being classified as an Albanian through and through.

Half of that shown is Illyrian history and it is not conclusively proven that there is Illyrian-Albanian connection. it is one of the theories and it could be the case.

The arbereshe of Italy have lived outside of Albania for around 600 years, our traditions are that of Albania of 600 years ago,, not of today's Albania under the ottomans.,, plus many Arbereshe came from Peloponnese, Morea, Corone, or Epirus.. which is Today in Greece.!¨. no one can revive our traditions.. they are only in our hearts... but they are mostly lost ...!!.."Jemi të gjithë Kushërinj edhe Gjaku jin i shprishur, ma na jemi arbëreshët e ata janë shkjiptarët".. we have the same mindset , our blood is one. but we are Arbereshet and they are Albanians.!!

@lagjes cuni2 they spoke albanian dialect, because at that time albanian language was not standartised as it is today...even today in Italy many arbershe villages have different expressions and dialects.... they spoke arbershe albanian laguage because they came from Albania ,, they were know as byzantines..they were from Albania lands..Greece has always existed.. they probably came from todays turkey.. before the osmans arrived .. Troy etc...the Albanians were not the only people in that area...there were many different ethnicities... but I agrre with you that probably the Albanians were one of the first people of the southern balkans.. but dont take credit for everything .. it was a collective endeavor .. we did not exist as a nation.. we only existed as tribal people.. scanderbeg was the first to try and unite us ... dont bullshit me.. it does,nt work.. i am Albanian in my blood..I feel it .. i know my people and how they think.!!.. but you wanna sell books ..i dont buy bullshit stories.! cos I know what we are about.!

@lagjes cuni2 yeah thtas right Francesco Crispi was Italian Prime minister from 1887 until 1996 or something.. after the unification o Garibaldi Italy of 1865 . yeah he was arbershe like so many fighters of Garibaldi were also arbereshe.. etc etc. . yeah Italian has been standadised,, but most people still speak their own dialect.... what you wanna say with this .. anyway back to your main content about the Greeks etc...In the beginning when I was also first learning about our Albanian history, all Albanians . or most anyway .. say exactly what you say. in the beginning I believed it .. but more and more its getting hard to believe.. and I do not believe it any more ...the Greeks must of been there, or at least Albanians pretending to be Greek.. they spoke Greek, they created an Empire..etcetc.. we have all the written documents .. it has been proven...so how can you say there were no Greeks... all those different people came under the Greek influence and were eventually Hellenized.. It just does not make any sense what you are saying..the Albanians hatred for the Greeks started in the 18th Century before that time ,, we got on very well with the Greeks and we worked with them even intermarrying.. we took part in their history in their wars , maybe we are the Greeks .. who knows ,,, but to say the Greeks do not exist thats bullshit. Albania is the only country that believes that. but like I said that is because you are neighbors , and neighbors usually hate each other, especially in the Balkans.. the Greek nation was created in 1821.. Albania was created in 1912,, these are nations ,,,nationalities,,, its all a new definition... Albanians never identified themselves as a nation before that..and the Albanian Awakening---Rilindja Kombëtare created an Albanian identity.. I think sometimes a false one..to make Albanians proud , to give them all the credit for everything...i can not be like that, it was a collective endevour, we were not alone.!!.. but believ what you want , i dont care ... but if you wanna sell it to me ... it has to make sense.! common sense.!! i dont buy patriotic bullshit:!!but everyone can believe what they want . today we live in a democracy, full of fake everything..

Rilindja Kombëtare.. this is where all the bullshit started... nation building.. Greeks are fed theirs , the Turk their bullshit , the Serbs there bullshit .the Italian their bullshit ... and so on, before this Albanians never had a national identity.!! end of story.!! the Arbereshe also did not have a feeling of nationhood before the 19th century... everyone stuck to their own fis.. clan , village etc.. today we have a nation.. that is the way it is. and its good we have a nation.

iscanderbeg was Born in Mati region not in Dibra , comunisem made this story beacose from Mat was born the king of Albania ( king Zog the first) and king Zog was extremly anti Comunisem and the comunissem made diferent history about Scanderbeg. in he’s helmet it show where scanderbeg born .

Historia jone I shkund te gjithe mjekerrmorracaket fetare kushdo qofshin ato biznese ortodokse, muslimane, katolike..., ju pelqen sju pelqen disa plerave te trushplara. Nje film I Hollywood per Skenderbeun do ju vente kapakun historive qesharake qe shesin bizneset fetare me ndertesat e tyre ne Shqiperi . Kush I drejton dhe manaxhon bizneset fetare ne trojet Shqiptare???????, Turkoarabet kane biznesin musliman Serbogreket kane biznesin ortodoks Vatikani ka biznesin katolik Si erdhen bizneset fetare ne Shqiperi Me pushtim, djeg, vrare ,shkaterruar. Lind pyetja kujt duhet ti besojme mjekerrmorracakeve fetare, bizneseve fetare apo heroit tone kombetare historine tone apo prrallat e mjekerrmorracakeve fetare????

skanderbeg was 100% albanian ,why he was Serb can you prove it? he born in Mati region just on above the Kruja , there is any Serb community , never was in history in this regions,places like Kruja,Mati,Mirdita, was the best clear Albanians catholics.
