Back burster and Throat burster. They're also including the traditional Chest burster. This movie has 2 aliens and 2 ways of being infected. They have Facehugger and the Spores. 2 aliens. Protomorph and the Neomorph. Edit: The bodies are Engineer corpses.

Dude, they already explained this. It's official. There are multiple types of aliens in the movie and are going to fight before the xenomorph outright murders the neomorph so it can go on to kill every single colonist. That other alien is called a "Neomorph" I don't really know their origin except that they may have been created from the engineers from Prometheus. I am hyped though because I heard there was gonna be a fight between the xenomorph and the neomorph!

That horse-shoe ship at 2:49 is the same Elizabeth Shaw and David took at the end of Prometheus. And the dogtags hanging at 3:01 - someone zoomed it in at Tumblr, I think - they read "Dr. E. Shaw". So its kinda confirmed its Elizabeth (Noomi Rapace) and she''ll even be back in Covenant here because she filmed some scenes from what I heard.

Neomorphs are the white ones, protomorphs is the one at the end I think since it looked organic than the classic xenomorphs hence the word proto- like a prototype

The "other ones" are called "neomorphs," which I think is kinda tacky... Technically they're all "xenomorphs" which means "foreign form" or "alien form." "Neomorph" means "new form."

They're nicknamed "Ultramorphs", since this movie is connected to Prometheus, it Ultramorphs are just like Xenomorph's but they're birthed from Engineers, or they're the precursor to the Xenomorphs meaning they're the ancestors.

That in the end, however, wasn't Xenomorph... it is either Protomorph or Ultramorph. The creature here is all flesh and bone - the Xenomorphs are biomechanical, flesh, bone and machine. I doubt that we'll see the classic xenomorphs here, but who knows...
