@@Cuentaparaperdereltiemp0 Nice. Walking is just kinda “optimized” if one wants a hint of speed included. On my playthroughs, the ALIEN always comes back to check out the player location pretty soon. Well, probably didn’t on the easiest difficulty but only played that once back when the game was new.
I was saving once herd a sound finished saving turned around and alien jumped on me. Reloaded that save alien was gone I said thank god not even saving is safe
I played in "crouching mode" a little too much and I like this player's approach better. Not making a move until alien doesn't go away and then when it does, you walk away! Instead of crouching away.
Running is good when alien is distracted, venting or you know you can reach keypoint before him. Crouching is good when you are very close to it and want to out maneuver it. Otherwise, normal walking is the best, because it doesn't generate that much noise and doesn't make you waste time. It's not only the rule in ai, but horror games in general. :)
You should realize that what you say's completely wrong. They're not blind for one cent. They can spot you from the other side of a hall, and they can hear a sound from up into a vent or the next room. Not to mention that they can feel your breath from inside a closet/cupboard, and hear the motion tracker when they approach your hiding spot.
It's *not* blind. Otherwise you could wave at it from up close and it wouldn't notice you, which is not possible, even on Easy. It's just the game that limits its abilities for easier experience.
The xenomorph has eye sockets under its translucent head. If you payed attention to the close-up death animations, you’d know that... Also the xenomorph can hear you... From another room even...
